VFK Memorial Day Mini-Quest 2014!

Today is Memorial Day! On this day of remembrance, we honor our fallen heroes in many ways. We have honorary parades, visit war Memorials, and display the American flag. This National holiday began on May 5th, 1868 and was formerly known as Decoration Day. In 1971 Memorial Day was changed to the last Monday in May. On today's quest let's take a look at the holiday on which we honor our soldiers that have fought and died for our country!
