Well, I hope everyone had a great Independence Day! :pm: We always sit on our front porch and watch our neighbors one street over (and all around us really) set off fireworks. Yes they are not legal here either - but that doesn't stop them. :rofl1: I mean the big ones! Well, we had another year with no one blowing anything or anyone up, so it was a good night. :wavet: Although King is still keeping his eye on me and that "delete" button. :notme:
So, closing on the map has been turning out to be pretty fun. Tonight, I happened across everyone making shapes with our teeny avatars. We looked like those fish from Nemo. :rofl3: Well, Hugs and Night Everyone! King sends his wishes for gas.he dreams to all! :gas7:

Well, some of us closed the evening down in the U.S. Marshalls jail this evening! King's gas was non-stop, proving even if he is feeling ill in real life, he can still pass virtual gas with the best of them! :gas7: All I have to say is, "This room is fun!". Even though we did not get our fireworks tonight, this new room was a fun surprise. Night dear friends and hugs! :grouphug3:

OK, I am going to post twice because I got so tired last night I did not get to pot pics. So here are some pictures from Sunday night closing at the crossroads. Since the fireworks did not show up that night, we all decided to be the fireworks game. We all got into a sparkly circle - played some "Farmer in the Dell". :rofl3:

OK, so anyone brave enough to see where some of us found ourselves tonight? In Ant's room - yes - King and Ant together! :gas7: The gas was so strong that it caused the two places at once bug. We could see chat from the fireworks lobby and they could see our chat. :rofl3: I blame the gas! Don't believe me, the proof is in the pictures... :rofl1:

Just wanting to stop in and say Good Night to everyone a little early. I don't think King and I will be on late enough to close tonight. We are exhausted and he is still having lots of pain. So, I guess we call the doctor tomorrow to see if there is anything besides Advil to try. So we hopped on long enough to say good night to our friends. Hugs and Sweet Dreams. :grouphug3:

Well, it was an interesting closing time tonight. Most of us, it seems got dc'd with only about 5 minutes or so to go. :cpuhammer: :lol: So in the end, we found ourselves in purpleduck's attic - equipped with, you guessed it, purple crates! :rofl3: Although, I missed a picture of the elusive flying purple duck. Now there is a bird for the AWA game!

There was a lot of sparkly and gassy magic going on! :gas7: And, to be honest, there were a few times I am surprised the entire room didn't get sent into the banned single user mode! :angel: I thought I'd post a couple of pics from then as well, because we were all in there pretty late. It was some party, that's for sure! I loved the pre-party fun -- I was invisible in Green Monkey's attic, and so I signed on again and found myself walking around in my room. But apparently she had stuck me to the wall in her attic! rofl

Hugs everyone! Closing came fast tonight - wow! Some of us made it into the Western Jail and many were stuck up on the wall. :lolg: Poor green monkey kept trying to come in, but that jail cell must have super glue on the bars! Thank you for posting the closing pictures (for all the nights) Princess! It is nice to look back on them. I had a little sidekick next to me on the couch last night so I was distracted around closing time. I am also so :yes!: that we can say tulip. You guys can call me whatever you wish.

Like I said...I guess Surfer didn't want us all holding parties in that apartment without chaperones! :rofl1: Good thing we had IM, so Add took us all to the ZOO!! Wooot!
Oh yeah, and if you ever end up in Surfer's room, don't sit on the chairs outside. <pic below>

Boo.he. I'm sorry if that's what happened. We'll find each other again soon.
You all were a blue blob to me for longer than usual, so I couldn't tell exactly who was all in the room. So Thanks for the picture Days. Now I know who was all there. :thumb:

Hugs everyone - sorry we missed everyone. Looks like a fun time. :hug: We watched a movie tonight - the kids were at Grandma's house! Woot! :wavet: King has an ultrasound on his legs tomorrow, so we will be off to that in the afternoon. I dozed off, woke back up and couldn't sleep so I hopped on VFK and it was live. Thank you for posting the closing pictures (for all the nights) Princess! It is nice to look back on them. I had a little sidekick next to me on the couch last night so I was distracted around closing time. I am also so :yes!: that we can say tulip. You guys can call me whatever you wish.

Well, we ended up closing with a little gas party this evening! Even littlebelle stayed awake until the very end! Woot! What a fun evening, I think! I found Princess and King at the end of my pal's, Ormonddude, very clever VFK quest (yes, he's created a quest without a quest machine!)! Princess was in the lobby area of the room. I was in the roped off area you teleport to when you successfully finish the quest. At first, I didn't see that King was in this area with me, but I was soon to find out! :D After noticing and greeting King, he came over to say Hi! Then, King gave me his signature greeting as a huge green cloud surround this Cloud! :pirateskull: :rofl1: And that green gas cloud lasted forever! :P I tried to escape but those ropes were blocking my way. Or so I thought! Little did I know that King's cloud has a hallucinogenic effect!! :ahh: :o I thought I was trapped in the roped off area, but then Princess and another of my friends told me I was standing outside the roped off area with them!! :lolb:

Well, tonight not too many were on as the lights went out. Jegrezo had her back yard open for all of us to enjoy! Our family had finished watching the Olympic opening ceremonies, and some West Coast friends were watching as we said good night. She has been playing VFK a lot today (in between playing in the sprinkler and other fun stuff) so we let her stay up to say good night. We saw several friends earlier in the evening, Rosie and purpleduck to name a few. I usually try to stay with PrincessRed while she is on, so I was sort of glued in one place most of the evening. :lolg:

Love seeing your closing pics Princess....sorry I've missed so many lately. I've been trying to catch up on some sleep and we've had thunderstorms at night lately so I log off computer then. I miss the nightly closings...and dare I say it? I even miss the Gas attack :crazy4: :hug:

I want to start off on a more serious note this evening and thank everyone for closing with us in our daughter's room. :hug: Today would have been my dad's birthday. He passed away almost seven years ago, but we still remember him on what would have been his birthday. He had cancer when I was a little girl and the many surgeries and experimental treatments cured him. He died at age 51, though, from radiation damage from those treatments. Mind you, in the early 70's these treatments were not even close to being as refined as they are today and they did not hold back in order to save my dad's life. (Which was a good thing since I was only five and my sister was born while my dad was sick) Anyway, we got 25 more wonderful years with him and for that we are so very thankful!
Some may find it silly, but we always spend this day together, watching old home movies and remembering funny things about my dad. (He would have fit in with everyone here, if that gives you a clue!) PrincessRed wanted to build a little room in his memory, even though most of her memories come through videos, photos, and stories we tell. She placed barrels in the room because he loved root beer and explained to us that the candies on the tables were "Butterfingers" - his favorite. So thanks to everyone who came to us tonight - we were, for obvious reasons planted in her room for close this evening! You are all very good friends. :hug:

Well, I hope someone on the map was taking pictures tonight! I logged on tonight and ended up on the map - I don't know how I got there. :??: But I found Ant, Krazy Kim, Rob and Sweet, Panda, and smackeralchick. Then I had huge lag and ended up in Stonehenge! :hmmmm: But there I see Rose.he! So yay to that. :thumb: Then I realize my laptop was doing a dumbo security scan, which can wreak havoc when I am in game. So I had to refresh! :sur:
I tried to get back on the map to say night before heading off to smackeralchick's room to end the evening. Ah, to no avail. But I know there was a wild party happening there! :drunk: So I will post a few pics from where I was and let my imagination run wild as to what was happening on that map tonight! >:D :rofl1:

We closed in Snowy's "minimalist" room tonight! :lolg: Actually, with the room empty, there was plenty of room for all of the wings! King had to snap a few pictures for me tonight, I was having some fairy lag off and on tonight. Purpleduck had a tiny fairy by her side until close - must have been her gas-be-gone fairy to keep King at bay! :rofl1: VFK_Vintage and VFK_Bondi were in the backyard with some of us and were helping a friend with some technical issues. It was actually a very interesting conversation as they tried to figure out if it was a connection issue or server issue. At one point I was in single mode for a brief second, then back in the room. They had reset one server to see if that helped. Pretty interesting stuff. :)

:hug: Well, after a few nights off - we were back on tonight to say Goodnight. Friends were on and out and about or busy stacking items! Snowy found me early and she, of course, found a little bug with the stacked furniture. :lolg: She was floating in the sitting position all the way to the floor, then sitting on air! Pretty Funny! It is clear there are still bugs with stacking, but it was sort of fun. :dance2:

Thank you for posting the closing pictures once again Princess. You are the official "Closing Picture Taker Poster Princess" (okay we need a much better title for you lol). ;) It was great to see some of you on at closing last night. I haven't been able to make many lately and I do miss them. I love the idea of having an earlier planned closing. I have been trying to get on a better schedule. Being a night owl sure was fun, so much more fun then an early bird. School starts this week and I am so much more nervous then DD since it is her (okay our) first time lol. :mom:

All that stacking reminds me of our former VMK home. Name the time for an early close and we'll try to make it! Sometimes I wonder when maturity will hit me and I will be disdainful of humor based on bodily conditions--be it King's gas or the nay.kid male fairy glitch. But you know, King's-gas-of-the-night-club just never gets old for me :yes!: :lolp: :lolg: Woot for immaturity! :tongue3:

Ok so King and I happened to be on late tonight and caught up with some friends. By the closing bell, we ended up in CursedMonkeyQueen's rainbow room! It is so beautiful!
