Title: No more smilies in EI?!

It took me a while to figure it out -- I couldn't understand why my text wasn't showing up! It turns out that we are not allowed to use ": )" anymore for a smilie. What am I going to do?! I use smilies when typing all the time! I wonder what their reasoning is for doing this -- so we would have to use their strange-looking paper bag faces? Ahhhh!  :doh:

A friend and I noticed this yesterday and told one of the staff about it.  They said they were going to make a report about it, but I guess its still not fixed yet.

Personally I hate those tiki head smilies.  (Yes I said hate.)  I can't understand what they represent - nor do I want to. 

Their biggest "offense" in my mind, is that I can never "move" without triggering their menu to pop up!  Extremely frustrating! >:[

awwwwwwwwwwwwww, I love the smilies Tiki or otherwise, but then I am a crazy fluffball hee hee. Hope we can Smile again soon, cause this alien is all about the smiles.....Fee
