When you go from room to room (Public Rooms) saying Trick or Treat! you get candy in your inventory! woot

Halloween Trick or Treating has started! To play, simply enter any public room and say:
Trick or Treat!
Saying trick or treat only counts once per room, and if you trick or treat enough you may receive a special prize!

Yes if you say Trick or Treat! you get candy in the different rooms you go into :)

Make sure you hit enough rooms to get the bucket of candy, its one per person.

Go out of your Fairy room and back in and it is a public room. (this works in each Fairy room you own)
This works with your Mermaid rooms also.
Go into each public room, plus games, maps, back yard, stores mermaid and fairy.

Okay, I have done all of the rooms and have between 120 - 130 pieces of candy.
How do I get the "bucket" Gas mentioned?

I didn't even hit all the rooms but found the bucket in my inventory when I was scrolling through. Not sure what I did to get it!?

You do realize that that is a frustrating answer to hear right? :lolg: ARG!

Purpleduck, if you have hit all of the rooms, you should have a candy bucket. I received mine about midway through or a bit before. If you do not have one in your inventory, send them a quick help message. Unlike VMK, they will not get upset for using it for this reason. They want to help you with this. If you send them a message through help, you will have your bucket quickly. I sometimes use help just to send them a note of encouragement and used it the other night when having trouble with my TV! Hugs! :bighug:
Oh, and this Halloween Trick or Treating is so fun and creative! :wavet: Way to go VFK! :dance2:

I thought it was just hitting enough public rooms to get the bucket......Check your inventory Ducky, looks like a Easter basket of candy. I had trouble seeing mine in inventory perhaps VFK should have put a bright ribbon on the top so we could not miss it in inventory :) :lolg:
Candy trades but bucket doesn't so far :(

Yes, I just needed to recheck my inventory.. it was small enough in that tiny pic, I guess I mistook it for a piece of candy when I was counting how much I had. :shy:

I sent a message saying my TV was broke and no reply, but when you sent a message later on Princess you got a reply. Hmmm, I think my help button is broken so now what do I do? LOL!
OH and don't forget the mermaid rooms and fairy rooms too :)
I was in the Sea Store and I froze for a bit. When I caught up it had some pretty funny messages on my screen after it gave me my candy. If you type "Trick or Treat!" in the same room more then once you get some silly messages like:
1.) You look familiar, you have already trick or treated in this room, try another room!
2.) You're wearing out my welcome mat, now get off my porch!
3.) Move along, this is not the candy you are looking for...
4.) I'm beginning to think that you live on my porch, and if you stay here any longer I'm going to start charging you rent!
5.) Give me that bar of soap, there aren't going to be any tricks here!
6.) This is getting really annoying, eyes in the back of my head, blah blah blah, you know the drill.
7.) The gift of giving is a joy forever, and forever has already come for you. Now try another room.
8.) You're really getting on my nerves kid, now move along!
9.) Blah blah blah, you know the drill, now get out of here!
And then I got tired of it so I left the Sea Store, but there might be more messages. :lolp:

I said, "Trick or treat!" 2x in a room by accident and was entertained by the message I got so I kept trying, just like you did Krazy! The messages are great! Very entertaining.
Here's a couple I got that are not on your list:

- Coming to the back door doesn't mean I won't recognize you, now move along!

Awww, Days.i! :hug: Go to every public room (including the fairy land rooms and mermaid rooms). Say Trick or treat! in all of them. Candy candy candy! (And next time, sign on to various places and ask! ;) )
