Twilight, or the period just after sunset when the soft light is fading away to darkness has long been considered a magical time. It marks the time when the world "transforms" from day to night, and is symbolic in oral traditions of any kind of complete change.
Today we will embark on a 7 day epic quest to be able to assume the form of an animal shape. Ancient and indigenous cultures believe in "shape-shifting." Australian aboriginal elders are said to have the ability to shape-shift, and it is fundamental to the dreamtime foundations of their beliefs.
With Twilight enchantment, we will be able to "magically" assume the form of animals from birds in the air to creatures below the sea and a wide range of animals in-between.
The first animal that comes with your Twilight Enchantment will be the Wolf. With your Twilight Enchantment, you will be able to aquire additional wildlife shapes, as they become available.
Since October is also Halloween month, we will be finding out about the animals that are most closely associated with Halloween.
The Twilight Enchantment Epic Quest will be available throughout October. You can begin the quest anytime you wish during the end of this month and at anytime during October, and upon completion you will receive your Twilight Enchantment.
This first quest includes a reward of 1,000 credits and the first Twilight Enchantment pin, the Wolf Pin! As you complete each stage of this Epic Quest, you will receive a unique reward and the next Twilight Pin.
Each day you can complete the next step in the Epic Quest, receiving your new rewards and progressing towards enchantment.
The Twilight Enchantment lasts as long as you wish and you can start and end it at any time.

Okay.. I know when I just posted the prize pic for today, (in the first post) I had to say what VFK said. Now.. maybe I will be learning something.. but I suspect it is a HUGE typo on their part!
Here is a snippet from their home page listing of today's "twilight animal", and it's umm.. ~cough~ title of the prize.
This makes for an exciting fifth day of our epic quest for Twilight Enchantment where we will be exploring the interesting world of the membrane winged animals, BATS!
Your reward for completing this quest is 1,000 credits and the fifth pin in the Twilight Collection, the Flying Fox Pin!
Umm.. looks like a bat to me :??: (http://img150.imageshack.us/img150/6820/twilightpin5nl0.jpg) Anyone want odds that tomorrow will be a fox?? :lolg:

:rofl1: :rofl1: Duck! There seems to be another "coughing" epidemic today. I thought exactly the same thing! I said to myself when I saw the pin " Uh, thats a bat." So I am thinking that the wolf, coyote, and the "fox" pin tomorrow will probably be followed by another "dog type" pin on Saturday and Sunday. But hey, five dog pins is "cough", original "cough", right? :shy:
Edit!::: Ok i just googled "flying fox" and it turns out that a bat is also called a flying fox. Who knew? :lolp: I guess the joke is on us Duckie.

Aww, hugs Ant and duck.he. :hug: The only reason I knew they are sometimes called a "flying fox" is because of a book the kids and I have read for home school.
But, I always drive the kids absolutely crazy when I joke about the "duty" from a flying fox! :rofl1:

Why didn't they just call it a "Bat pin" like they did with all the others? Maybe I'm just thinking too much.

I cannot believe you people have never heard of a bat being called a flying fox...... :lolp:
Actually, the term is used more for the 60 or so species of fruit bats that have wing spans of 4 to 6 feet wide, and their heads look like a fox.
And duck i, I dont think the next pin will be a fox. I am going to go with octopus, sea snake, or a dolphin, octopus would be my first choice.

It would seem we are to continue this Twilight series.. but as quests, or as buyables? Here is the info from home page:
The concept of "shape-shifting" is not a new concept, and also is not just confined to primitive peoples. It is found throughout history in popular childrens-stories, legends, myths and lore. In today's quest, you will receive the Twilight Enchantment Wolf pin, which allows you to assume the shape of a wolf! You will be able to acquire more Twilight Enchantments as they become available!

True, they give you 1,000 which is nice, but then they put out out a 10,000 credit magic and no Pirates. LOL! Bye bye money.
