Did you get bumped back down to level one in Beta 2?

What do you mean by level one?  Do you mean switched back to basic access?

Durning Beta 1, I am assuming each character had level rankings as they do now...

When Beta 2 opened up, were your characters put back to Level one status, to start over from scratch

Yes, we totally had to start over.  We didn't even get to keep our names!

But it was really a blessing to have to start over.  We were so bugged from phase 1.  Our quests were dead ends, we couldn't unlock weapons, and so many other bugs.  During phase 1, I had to restart my character over at least 4 times if not more, not including the total reset of characters that POTCO did.  So really, phase 2 is going a whole lot better.
