Hiya!
:trophy: Price Alert! :trophy:
Evidently there are some new tatoos available. As a result the price of some ink colors in the marketplace is way up. If you need gold, now might be a good time check the market and think about selling.
The market constantly changes. Here is a sample of some of the low prices at the moment:
Black Ink: 600
Blue Ink: 295
Red Ink: 220 (price has gone up further and it is moving fast!)
White Ink: 997
Purple Ink: 250
Orange Ink: 180
Pink Ink: 290
Black, White, and Red ink seem to be the most popular sellers.
Bugs are exchanged into ink at Durem Depot. I don't know what tatoos are new or if it is better to buy and resell the tatoos. I have not looked at selling the bugs types in the market either. This may be another option to consider. I just see it as a chance to do something with those darn bugs.

Just wanted to put in a little update with some more colors and their Average buying price.
Green Ink --- 115g (the lowest I've seen has been 230)
Yellow Ink --- 70g
Brown Ink --- 42g
Gold Ink --- 268g

Just sold white ink for 1400g. Late last night I sold a couple for about 1200, so the price is steadily increasing. If you have white ink, now's the time to sell. ;)

Woot. Glad to see some friends earning some good gold. I thought I saw an Amberdaze in the white ink market last night...when I couldn't sleep.
Often I buy the inks and resell them right away at one of the lowest prices listed. There is a trend of the same person buying many of the lower priced listings...Not sure if this is to jack the price up, then list their items or if they need it. Probably a bit of both. I've seen it in other markets too.
White ink (1,000 easy) and black ink (500-ish) seem to be holding the most value. Brown (40), then yellow seem to have the least value. Those other colors continue to fluctuate.
Hugs!

Hehe...I saw your listing -- woot for late night selling! Yes, I've seen exactly that happen. I've also seen others cancel listings and relist. It's a tough market sometimes, but if you keep at it things eventually do sell. When I first started selling I made an error in selling something at the wrong price (way too low -- left out an entire digit *gasp*)...it sold within 6 seconds. I didn't even have time to cancel the listing ROFL. Make sure your listing is correct before you click that submit button. :rofl3:

Oh No! Ouch!

Ouch - I was amazed even at or above market stuff sells quick.
Yellow and brown are not as cheep as market don't sell it short.
I have sold the following
red - 225
blue - 225 & 275
Brown - 100
black - 500
orange - 200
Gold - 275
yellow - 99
Pink - 240
What is the best way to list it - I split some up and listed them at different prices - I was surprised to learn you can only list 10 items :(
If I list 3 does the buyer have to buy all 3?
I am unsure if I am listing it the best way but I made like 2500 gold in an hour - going bug hunting :js:

First I have a clone, so I can list 20 items at a time. :)
Second, often I just buy in the market and resell them.
Example #1: I look for people selling 2x red ink for a low per unit price and put then back up individually at a price close to the lowest buy it now offer. This saves me from tracking what I bought it for and helps me "turn the inventory quick". If using this method keep in mind the 2% fee for selling. Generally, if I can net 50+ gold on an item, I will do it. (Many people only want or need one of an item, not multiples. I started doing this with the blue bass long ago. People only need one for the Liam quest.)
Example#2: On the main markeplace page there is an option to see what is ending soon. Click to view all. Look for bargains. This page also gives you an option to sort by "just added". A great place to spot new items listed....sometimes at a low price...and maybe even a typo. Last night I actaully bought a white ink for 100!
Example#3: Track one or two colors of ink. Just keep refreshing the pages in a new window. Watch fornewly listed bargains.
Selling:Sometimes I ladder the same items example...200 220 230 240 250....in hopes of moving up the market price. Other times I just list them all at say 220. The all at one price happens most when I am watching the maket.
I tend to ladder more before I sign out of the game for the night.
Hope this helps! Ha ppy Selling! I wish everyone a jar of ink for the crane machine!!!!!! Yes, that is where white in comes from.

Another tip. My password is long. To save time when buying and listing, I have my password ready to paste in with a control V.

I was just in a bid war for blue ink that went from 2 gold to 300. Each bid extends the auction by about a minute and a half.
Also I just watched someone screw up an auction on a Radiant Prizm listed for 10 million credits it had a bid of 1 and I tried to bid it was set for 10K incriments and it sold for 1 gold

I'm not sure how much longer the "ink market" will stay so lava. It is quite fun to watch the market. The bidding can get crazy. Yes, that 1:30 timer can drive you nuts or be your friend. I find it best to refresh the player's store, rather than wait for the outbid message. On a white ink war the other night a message similar to "too many players viewing auction" kept popping up.
The other day DH said, can you use those skills and make us some real money. :laugh2:
Tonight I picked up a red and a yellow ink for 15 gold each, I guess the girl didn't look at the current market prices.
Ouch to the person that did that listed the prism.
Oh, if you happen to catch a rare bug, (No, I have not) check the marketplace prices before trading it. Before the ink rush a monarch butterfly was getting 9K.

My ink and other items have been selling so fast today!

I think I'm learning not to add a bid option at the marketplace.. this only bidding 1 or 2 gold is annoying.

Ah my friend, your not using it right. set a top amount a little above market and a start bid around average or slightly bellow. Set your incriments however but not to much or you will only get one bid.

Tonight we learned some more ink information. Gaia now sells something called "body dye". In the shop most body dyes cost 20K in gold and 500 jars of the same color ink. In the Market Place body dye prices vary depending on color from around 100K-500K.
Summary, ink prices may be up for a while.

I noticed yesterday many of the ink prices seemed to stabalize - I saw a lot of large lots going in and even prices, it seemed to stop moving and today the bottom appears to have fallen out of the ink Market.
Red Ink 154g -7%
Green Ink 104g -38%
Blue Ink 218g -22%
Yellow Ink 68g -19%
Brown Ink 23g -1%
Black Ink 301g -47%
Orange Ink 88g -12%
White Ink 1,029g -5%
Gold Ink 125g -21%
Purple Ink 213g -3%
Pink Ink 127g -36%
Not to say it won't come back, but if you need it - now is a good time, if you are selling - you might want to hold.

Back with an Ink report, Ink is making a recovery as I expected. Some are slower then others Green, yellow Brown, Orange, Gold, and Pink I would use caution - Blue, Black, White, and Purple are moving ok at good prices so if you are flipping those buying low you should be ok.
Note: Based on volume Ink was involved in the trading glitch trading 160 million units of most colors on the days where there were issues but Gaia seems to be dealing with that issue - I would guess removing all glitched items they could fairly track down. This was the primary reason the prices fell
I think another good buy right now is town items for the next few days - if you can swing the prices
Red Ink 63g + 4%
Green Ink 58g -0%
Blue Ink 179g + 3%
Yellow Ink 42g -2%
Brown Ink 20g + 1%
Black Ink 293g + 5%
Orange Ink 45g -2%
White Ink 1,315g + 5%
Gold Ink 100g -1%
Purple Ink 260g + 1%
Pink Ink 90g -2%
