As many of you know by now last night the DIS boards removed me as a moderator. I will no longer be posting on that forum. I have not been banned I just choose not to be associated with a bunch of freaking morons.
This is the reason I was given for my removal:
general attitude that is projected towards both VMK and the posters

Obviously DIS does not want that kind of person moderating. (Watch out Aengus and Lori.. they will be looking to bark up your trees soon, as you both exemplify caring as well.)

You know, I disagree with a lot of things the Dis does. Mostly the way that they allow trolls to post at will but anyone who wants to speak out against them gets points or gets the thread locked (the most blatant example of this was the "stolen" green flips kid who was scamming everyone and their mother); But this really takes the cake. This is the grand poobah, how moronic can the dis be, wtf moment of them all. I'm really sorry they did this to you Mal, but I'm happy that we'll have you over here now. :welcome_wave: :drinkingtoast:

I joined this board today, because of what happened to Mal. I know the countless hours she spent putting her heart into that board. I know the joy and frustrations she had over the years as a mod. I also know how she went above and beyond her call as mod there.
Any way you look at it the reasoning is lame. That board is who will suffer from this. Someone is going to have to pick up all the slack. (My heart goes out to LoriR and Aengus!)
The players will feel it the most though. When things were wronged in vmk, it was Mal that the vmk staff responded to and answered. Now who is going to stand up for players who were wronged, had needless actions taken against them, etc. She was able to get results.

She, and they, can still stand up for the players. Mal just has a new venue. (And we will welcome any and all who need it as well.)

I'm just absolutely sick about what happened, and it's just one of many things VMK-related that have miffed me off to no end lately. I had no idea the next hugely stupid thing VMK-wise would be coming from the DIS though, especially not in this manner. Wrong on so many levels. :mad:

I do not even read over there anymore. I have no use for the bunch of ignorant morons running that board. They will end up destroying the VMK boards, there is already discussions of closing the VMK CB. The DIS VMK Trade board reputation is ruined thanks to the non response to the Green Flip boy incident where we, the mods, wanted to ban him but were told we could not because he did nothing on the DIS! Yes, he did he ruined the reputation of the DIS VMK Trade Board by his actions in the game. So our hands were tied once again.
I know Lori and Aengus will do an awesome job over there, it is just not the place I care to associate with any longer.
