VFK Ice Fishing Quest!
7:00 A.M. Pacific Time Sunday, January 1st, 2017 to 10:00 P.M. Pacific Time Monday, January 2nd, 2017.
For those who love fishing and also winter sports, let's try ice fishing! If you want to fish through the ice, is it very easy! First be sure that the ice is thick enough to support your weight, then all you have to do is trek out onto an ice covered fishing spot, like a lake, and cut a hole in the ice. Then drop a fishing line into the water, and wait! It is said to be relaxing, and can be as fancy as you want! If you want to make more of a show, bring an "ice auger" to drill a hole in the ice, set up a few "tip-ups", and wait in your portable heated ice fishing house! You can even stay warm by heating up a cup of hot chocolate on your stove in the ice fishing house! So for today's quest, let's dress warmly, gather up our ice fishing gear, and head out to the lake and go ice fishing!
