VFK Ghost Ship Quest!
7:00 A.M. Pacific Time Sunday, October 10th, 2010 to 10:00 P.M. Pacific Time Monday, October 11th, 2010.

Ghost ships are one of the most intriguing legends of the sea. Accounts of strange ships with missing or dead crews have been told by seafarers both ancient and recent for centuries. Some of these ghost ships are only superstitious stories, while others are real mysteries that remain unexplained to this day. On today's quest we are going to set sail into the superstitious and mythical realm of Ghost Ships!

Your reward for completing this quest will be 1,000 credits, and Ghost Ship Wreckage!

Hmm now to make a boat for that! lol

I couldn't imagine what they would exactly mean by "wreckage", so I had to go get the pic.  It has been added to the first post.

I hope this is the beginning of many more cool Halloween items!  How about some scavenger hunts again VFK?

I like it.  Really like the spooky purple color on it, and the waving flag!

Oh and we can sit on this item too.  lol

Flame is gonna have to go against the grain here.  I'd rather have the ship than just the wreckage...which is kindof unsightly.  I do like the flag alot and the fact that we can sit on it.  I think it could have been better, though.  Not attrative to me much at all.  5 flames out of 10 on the Flame-o-meter (patent pending).  Sorry eveyone.  :shy:

I finally got time to do the quest and check this item out.  I like that we can sit on it!  Flag is fun.

I tried to place it in an underwater room and sit as a mermaid - I don't sit, I just disappear -  :sur:

Since I disappeared while trying to sit on it (as mermaid) - I moved it to a beach room.  :thumb:  The whole ship would be fun as flame said; but I think this is still a pretty neat item. I'm sure it will be used in lots of creative ways.  Would be interesting if VFK gave us the entire ship wreckage in pieces though  :rofl1:

And, if they would give us 'tower' pieces to go with the new walls.  We could make forts for our rooms.  A few turrets, ramparts, etc.  like the sand castle pieces. ;) 
Nothing like a pirate castle...lol

We are excited about this one too! King and my "pirate" kids love this item! I also love the idea of an entire ship, but this item is interesting enough that I bet it could be used in some really creative ways. I mean Haunted + Pirates = How could you go wrong! Arg, off to do me a few quests, ye scurvy dogs! :pswing: :psail: :pirates:

Sorry, but I have to agree with Flame here.  I think a skeleton of the whole ship would be better then just the mast and I think it would of been more scary then a pole with a flag on it.  I guess because it has a pirate flag on it it is suppose to be frightening, but not really.  :pskull:  :pirates2:  :pirates:  :pskull:  Yay for the credits though.  :2thunbs:  LOL!
