Hi littlebelle here and I am getting a bit of a complex. First I joined charmed and alien site and within a week it closed down. Only to be lost from the group for 4 months.

 I finally find the last no BS site and what happens in less than a week it too had changed address but at least there was this flashing sign that said we had move LOL

So I hope I can stay at this address for longer than a week.

Gosh I don't know Duck... could it be the 70 hour work weeks I've had this past month? Hmmmm ?   :moon:  Oh and I've tried to fit a little sleep in there amongst the work and the vmk time. 

Now that I've had the chance to look around I have some questions.

1.  What is up with all the ducks around here? :crazy:

2.  Why is my karma only 1?  What effects my karma number?

3.  What are the smite me/exalt me buttons?  I clicked both on Decoy's post and nothing happened.  I've imagined a large explosion at Decoy's house all because I clicked the smite me button.

4.  Why isn't my birthday listed along with everyone else's?  Does this mean I'm not going to get a present?

5.  What is up with the freaky rabbit emote?  Is that a chinese hat on his head or manhole cover or a loaf of bread?   :wtf:  Seriously, he creeps me out.  lol

6.  How come everybody has cool vmk item names under their real names and I got a ned pin?  I mean, I know I'm no inferno, but I thought I would at least be a bird hat or something.

I am going to answer all of these questions, but it will take me a while, so if you see this post before all the above are answered... Please check back. ;)

1. I don't know for sure, but I think the Decoy attracted them all. :notme:

2. Your karma is 1 because I saw it was zero, and exalted you... find karma explained in this post: Karma - What is it For? (http://www.vmknobs.com/index.php?topic=85.0)

3. The Smite Me & Exalt Me buttons are used to add and subtract from ones karma. You have to have a minimum number of posts before you may affect another member's karma. (I think it is less than 5 posts.) No explosions yet... :thumbs: I also think that there is a time limit between times that you can exalt or smite the same individual.

4. If you have a December Birthday,(I haven't checked yet), it will be added today. I do not add them until you fill them out in your profile,(which makes them show up on the calendar), and last checked the December birthdays on 12-1. :cool2:

5. It is a bunny with a pancake on it's head, a little comic relief and/or the perfect response when you know not what to say. (Sorry if it creeps you out, but, the bunny stays!!) :lol:

6. The VMK Items are a member rating based on the number of posts. Before posting you were Guest########, no you are Ned Pin, soon you will move on to bigger and better things. The rankings change often, especially early on, so you will likely lose Ned Pin status with your next post.

5. It is a bunny with a pancake on it's head, a little comic relief and/or the perfect response when you know not what to say. (Sorry if it creeps you out, but, the bunny stays!!) :lol:

6. The VMK Items are a member rating based on the number of posts. Before posting you were Guest########, no you are Ned Pin, soon you will move on to bigger and better things. The rankings change often, especially early on, so you will likely lose Ned Pin status with your next post.

Wow Decoy, thank you for answering all my questions so quickly.   :)  I'm glad to hear that your house is still standing.    I hope none of my questions offended.  I am going to learn to like the bunny, although I may lose sleep in trying to figure out why he would wear a pancake on his head.  hehe    Are you the originator of this board?  If so I'd like to say that it is very well done.  I really like the smite me/exalt me karma thing.  Even thought the tempation to misuse the smite me button is going to be hard to repress.  Muahaha.    Seriously though, I think this board is a great and much needed idea, so kudos to whomever had a hand in it!

Well, after lots and lots of pressure from Decoy to join, I'm finally here! I'm nrb on here and the Dis. On VMK, I'm nmunolan and my real name is Nolan. However, I can't get on VMK anymore, except maybe once every two months or so (with this great old dial-up of course ::)), so I'll try to pop on here as much as I can to at least say hi to all my Dis and VMK buddies :).

Hey all, I'm glad to be here and thanks for the early welcoming messages! :)

I came here mainly because I know this is a place in which I will be able to share my experiences post-VMK (I no longer play, or don't play as much since I'm devoting all of my extra time to a wonderful girl I met! :)). However, I still enjoyed talking to my VMK pals, but I couldn't really find the way to, since most of the forums had idiotic posts saying stuff like "OMGZ GUEST17482937 IS NOW TAKION BY ME!!!!11ONEONE!!!" and didn't really felt anyone from such forums would actually pay attention to whatever I wrote! :)

It's a pleasure to be here and kudos to the creators of the Quest for noBS!

My first post is I will introduce myself  :)
I am AstroGigiblue on here, VMK and Dis.  That makes it easy enough for everyone.  I have met some really great friends on VMK and Dis, and hope to do the same here as well.  I have been playing VMK since Thanksgiving time '06, I can't believe it's been almost 9 months already.

Ant:  I love your mention to "out of this world", it does go well with my title, doesn't it?  Funny thing is ... yes I did not think very hard about a screen name.  So, VMK made up the first and last part of my title.  Astro and Blue.  Gigi is actually all I wanted, and sadly it must have been taken.  It's my nickname, from when I was really, really little.  So everyone has just gotten used to calling me Astro, and that's just fine :)

Hi! I'm doodlesparkle! I've been playing VMK for awhile and am tired of those stupid forums. Yea i'm not like the best at the game or whatever but I don't really care  :crazy:.

I like dance parties (But not those stupid taken or not ones) and just messing around on the game.

Well, Adventuredaz inititally told me about this place a few days ago. Got tired of using the code word "pickles" to try and discuss VFK on another board, so here I am!  :notme:

Just my luck to find a great site with other adults and no B.S. two days before VMK closes!  :P

I do see MANY familiar faces here and look forward to some fun times. While you may believe his gas to be potent.. it brings an interesting challenge to mind.  King against Ant..  :hmmmm:  I do believe it would be (although stinky) most fun to see which would win the "biggest gasser" award!  :rofl1:

Thanks for the welcomes everyone! King has actually been working a little extra this week so he has not officially signed up yet.  Honestly, it would be just like him to sign up for a game forum the day after the game was closed!  :rofl3:

Ant, I think your eggs and broccoli are a good hand, but I have to tell you - we had authentic mexican food this weekend and he took the leftovers for lunch! I will have to air the house out for days to come!  :gas1:
