I found HOST_Harmony in front of the Opera House this morning, she had just gotten off another ride. She is doing some of the Judging-- but she is not the only judge!

ok so that leads us to another questions why are some rooms showing up and others not geee and I thought we figured it out.

Yeah.....um....we had something odd happen last night. VFK_Sydney popped into Flamanette's ride room and wanted to ride. A few of us were already in there. We said "np", then we rode. She was giving us weird replies like she was talking to someone else...or having a different conversation! I said "ladies first" (being the only male there)...and she said "e. g.?". She was making no sense. At the end of the ride (she finished last), she complained about the lag????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Um...Flamanette made a pretty simple ride with almost NO lag at all!! If she didn't like the lag in .it's ride...she's in for a huge headache when she gets to mine and others! ROFL. Then the bizarre conversation continued! .It has a nexus at the end of her ride. Sydney asked if it went somewhere.........um........she should know better than us! ROFL. THEN....she came out with something out of the blue: "I know I'm pretty attractive"....needless to say, we were all like :lolp: :??: :notme: :hmmmm: :roflmao: :rofl1: :hmm: :crazy4: :crazy: ... but mostly: :crazy2: :crazy2: :crazy2: :blink: LOL. I really hope she wasn't judging .it's room. She really seemed..............................elsewhere. lol.
Not sure what is up with staff lately. We stumbled across VFK_Cactus room the day before on the pop list. She was having fun throwing snowballs at a lone snowman in her wintery room... LOL. I wonder if the Easter stress has had a negative effect on some staff??? :-X

To funny flame I would be taking screen shots and asking what was she taking rofl. But to complain about the Lag oh boy better not go to my space room she will never finish. Really she never will. But to have a host ride your ride and not say anything to you except lag and yes I know I am attractive is just beyond bizzarre.
Yes VFK catus was probably just frustrate with all the calls for help. That is the host that responded to my room description will not load. And suggest I refresh.
I sure hope by judging it is working cause they will not understand my ride then :(.

Thank you for your kind offer Flamanar, on the torch. I'm sure I'll get to the bottom of this at some point. ;) At first I was sad, because I do like those Halloween torches -- and for the fact that once VFK locked rooms down, it went missing - I was irritated. Well, now that we can't even use the "List Items" function for the 1st ride room, I'm at the mercy right now of VFK. I have sent a Help Report, and we'll see what happens. Thank goodness it's only 1 torch. I think I used about 5 or 6 of them. I thought maybe it would magically appear after I was judged too, which it didn't. The waiting game now I guess... :lolg:

Hey Astro, I did notice in my 1st ride room that a flower keeps bouncing in front and behind a wall. So hopefully your torch is still there but behind another piece??? I love those Halloween torches too. You know how much I enjoy the animated furniture!! :thumb:

So true Disco. Not sure about that one though, as this torch in particular is out in the open. I thought maybe it was in the way of a ride piece, but friends were able to ride before the lock down without any problems with it being in the way. That's why I've been dying to use that "List Items" feature too, to find it on my own. Who knows. Hopefully I'll hear something soon, or at least when this competition is all over with.

She was walking around VMK as his character saying things like, "I'm so stop.id", "I am a big lose.her", and the best of all, "I do do my pants"! :rofl1: I thought King and I were going to do do our pants from laughing so hard. Moral of the story, never leave for a potty break with a sneaky sister around. :lolg:

HA! I about fell out of my chair laughing :lolc: tonight when I saw this room on the Popular Room List: Hmmmm... memories Flamanar? ROFL! :laugh2: Guess her room description reflects what she said that night to you guys.
I did try and enter, weird thing is everyone in that room was apparently booted (from what they said when I entered), Sydney was no where to be seen though. It had a few salon chairs in it, a bouncing beach ball, trelliporter with cave eyes, that lead no where... hmmm think that was about it ~ very odd. "Dream House"??!! Then the room was off the list.

Hersheygirl so wanted more chocolate so she put the penny in vending machine and got :choc: . When Hersheygirl admitted to spending Engima's precious penny, funfly had to think :think: (for the first time in her life :lolg: ) of what to do. Her plan :idea: was to use her VMK Blackheart Quest Pirate Map and find a treasure of pennies :ptreasure: While Pix and Flame were still "discussing" Engima's precious penny, Hersheygirl snuck back in and replaced the penny. Funfly drank the pixie port :drunk: ; Hersheygirl almost gave up chocolate; Pix and Flame joined funfly in having Pixie Port and never noticed the penny was different; and all was right with the world once again :grouphug3: The End :moon: --

Funny thing is - King was in that room of Sydney's the other night. He was on trying to meet someone for a trade using our borrowed wifi. It was totally bizarre. At one point King just responded to Sydney with "Huh?". :??: There were a few times I wondered if English is even her first language? Then other points she would say things outof context like, " I was going to come over your house but didn't think you wanted me there." HUH? Maybe she is IMing at the same time and confusing her chat?
Almost as bizarre as the whole penny saga. :lolg: So if Pix has Enigma's penny, who has Vintage's quarter? :hmmmm:

Wow, on that story with King & Sydney, Princess! :o I also have to agree with you in that I wonder if English is her first language too. Sure, I'd like to give the benefit of the doubt, but...she seems to be like this, like ALL the time. Find it difficult to believe she's IMing and confusing chat, ALL the time. It's just plain odd. But, the stories are fun to hear. ;) :lolg: Keeps me entertained for sure. :drinkingtoast2: It was very odd with her Guest Room too. I was only able to be in there long enough to catch a few chat bubbles and see what was in the room, then it was like I was booted -- but never sent back to my room. I was frozen in Sydney's room, as were any other players that were in there at the given time. But, chat bubbles stopped, etc. - plays Twilight Zone Intro. music - :laugh2:
Is it at all possible that character could actually be a child of one of VFK's Staff members? I'm sorry if that comes across as being disrespectful, not my intention at all. But, the thought did cross my mind at times, many times. Thinking out loud here. :hmmmm: Because sometimes I feel as if it's not just one person that plays that character either, maybe quite a few. It would explain the differences in personality at times too.

This thread is so interesting. Oh yeah, on topic I was judged. ;) However, I never made the time to make a ride so all I had entered was the Rainbow Ride first room. that I originally made for Princesses idea of the rainbow themed rooms.
Now lol, off topic... I have a couple of weird host/staff encounters too. I signed in a couple of weeks ago and saw the sparkles of an unloaded person kind of hiding just off screen in my sign in room. I thought it was strange, clicked on the person and it was a VFK staff. They started moving around, just off screen but I did see the sparkles. I waited awhile then said "Hi __", they responded "hi" and I said "did i do something wrong?", they said "no". They left after that, or maybe they loaded and were just out of sight lol. I thought it was kind of random as it was just my sign in room that I had just enterered and nothing special. Also, I remember last summer there was a host in the garden and he was saying some things I though were kind of random and a bit inapproprite, like telling girls he thought they were really cute, etc. I have not seen this host in many months now so idk if he is gone or if it was the real him. I know, Im not using names I just feel a little weird about talking poorly about staff. All I know is I want some of that Pixie Port!!!

Yes, I am quite surprised by her behavior from what I have seen myself and have also heard about. Very out of character for a Staff. The mystery does continue ~ although the stories crack me up. :laugh2:

idk, I know what you mean about using titles. But, my personal opinion is if they are a Staff member, they ESPECIALLY shouldn't be acting like this. Lots of kids play this game, and it kind of makes me a little uneasy if Sydney especially, is going around talking about how attractive she is, and whatever else she's saying, to kids. As adults we can take whatever it is she says with a grain of salt, and joke about it here. But in all reality, she isn't setting a very positive example for the kids that play VFK too. For that I don't feel bad about using names. It would be much different if it was just a personality clash amongst certain players, which it's clearly not. If she acted appropriately, we wouldn't have anything to say. I'm glad that I know about these things. Then for sure I know what Staff to steer clear of on purpose.
