Ok, the deal with the Member Only - Salon Chairs is this: Other players that sit in the chairs, can have a "makeover" done. Meaning, that basically the owner of the room will have the guest player's personal closet open (just like if you were to choose your own outfit, etc.), and they can click on anything from hair, to clothing, to hats, to skin tone, etc. and click accept. It's just a window that pops up when you click on the guest player while they are seated in the chair.
Also, VFK has a window pop up giving the guest player an option to "tip" the owner 20 credits for the makeover if they wish to do so. It's called an award. This 20 credits comes from VFK, it is not payed out of the guest players credits. Once the player clicks on yes, the owner of the room gets a separate pop up saying that the guest player liked their makeover, and has awarded them 20 credits for it. The credits go into the owners credits.

Totally creative! I love the whole tipping process - especially since the payout is from the VFK bank! Their creativity never ceases to amaze me. Hmm... now to get King into that chair! :rofl1:

Lol. The mayhem was flowing tonight with the new 'makeovers'. Not sure that I put myself back together right or not! lol.
Truly an amazing amount of creativity went into this new experience. Already it has provided huge laughs. Love it!

I am going to venture to say probably not Belle. Not only could I imagine the nightmare they would have of having to manually do a bunch of trades just for salon chairs. I could be totally wrong, but... I'm guessing this is another way for VFK to drum up some paying business. Another way to get some more paying members. Smart they are, I give them that. ;) I'm sure there are lots of kids that want to play salon and will be begging parents to pay for a membership now so they can have the salon chairs that will allow them to do just that. :)
Can't say I blame VFK, they have to make money too ~ somehow.
On a side note: Of course I don't see myself going into the Salon Business either. But, the creativity put into this is AMAZING, and Hats off to VFK! Woot! :2thunbs: I do really like the fact that they are willing to cater to everyone that plays this game.

MermaidMelusina and I tried to trade a chair-- from main account holder to main account holder and noda! The salon chairs belong only to the buyer. However, if you click to sell, you can sell them back for a full refund! If anything, stash them in a storage room for now and let them be...
I built my salon this morning... am I going to use it? Uh... not much, but at least I have the items and my wallet is sort of intact... LOL!
