If anyone is interested, I got this pop up message in my game:

Server Maintenance of Virtual Family Kingdom begins in 10 minutes, at 10:00 PM pacific time, and concludes after 15 minutes.

At 10:15 PM pacific time, Virtual Family Kingdom services will resume.

See you at 10:15 PM pacific time!

VFK has been sending this pop-up for the last few nights now.  This will probably stay as a pop-up, right before closing.

Oh, really?  Maybe its there to tell the new players that they reopen after maintenance.  I have had some people surprised to see they are open when it says they are closed for the night on the homepage.

Also it might say they won't close for maintenance on New Year's Eve when that day comes.  Not to far away.  Yikes!
