:wavet: Woot! I saw that Berry Festival Badge sitting in our badge inventory and wondered when the festival will be. What woman can resist a new pair of shoes? :2thunbs:
Now, to find and save those berries...

True to their word, I got my new shoes today.
Also was able to use the berries I had saved in my pouch, to earn the Berry Harvest Festival badge! (Although the berries are more plentiful than ever right now, so it will be VERY easy to get the badge.. just need to donate 10 berries. Blueberries, raspberries or both.) ;)

I did not get a message. But, when I looked in my "wardrobe", there was a star shining in the corner of that tab (the purple dress icon) (indicating that there was something new in there). When I clicked on the "shoes" tab, there was the new pair of shoes in there, and that pair of shoes also had the same shining star in the corner of new shoe picture - also indicating that it was a new item. :)

Just curious--my shoes were purple and match my outfit. Did everyone get shoes to match or did they just happen to be purple?

Well, mine did not match my outfit really. I also got purple. So it must be purple shoes for all! The title of these special new shoes I believe is: Sparkle Slippers - Violet Purple.

Days: I believe we all started out with a total of 5 pairs of shoes if you look on the "Shoe" inventory tab. They will vary in color in style probably. Even the shoes you are wearing will be listed. So the pair you are wearing is included in the 5 total. The new pair from the festival will make a total of 6. I hope this helps. :)

Yes, I got the purple shoes too yesterday.
Days, I don't believe you get the shoes or anything you make in the tailor's yet. They are just donated. (I think it says so when you enter the store. You see two windows to choose from, the right side one being to make for yourself, and it says it is 'coming soon'.)

The Star will disappear, once you have already peeked in your inventory under Shoes. ;)

I noticed a star on the inventory of my spare which I happened to log in first that day. However, both of my fairies got the new purple shoes with glimmer sparkles. When I logged in my main though the star no longer appeared.

Very strange Fun. I noticed that the star did appear on both the "wardrobe" tab (almost like an alert that there was something new in that section), and then a star on the "shoe" tab.
Then once you went into any part of the "wardrobe" inventory, the star disappeared there. As far as the star on the "shoe" tab, that may have disappeared once the "wardrobe" tab was opened too? I think anyway, can't remember exactly anymore. :lolg:

I logged my second in today, had no star at the clothing tab in the leaf journal.. but did find a star for the shoe section, and even found a star on the pair of shoes!! Plus.. today, the shoes were blue, despite us all having received purple ones for a few days :hmmmm: :??:

I think the star will appear in 3 spots total then. Maybe? 1-Wardrobe tab, 1-Shoe tab and then 1-on the new pair of shoes. This goes the same for clothing or furniture. I noticed this when we used the codes Dream listed. There were stars on every single new item in inventory (tabs and individual items). But once you look, they all disappear.
