Beat me to it again Astro, lol, but this does sound kinda cute.  I wonder if it will be like the party favors though and that we won't have it if we open it up.  I guess we just have to wait and see.

I have to say, all of us NoBsers should have no trouble figuring out the candies to trade. The Guide for Trick or Treat Prizes has all of the candy from the previous 3 years pictured and listed!  Thanks to Red and Astro for keeping that updated!

I think this is an adorable idea! Going to make sure we have all of our candy in order before October 1st!

But not to worry, this duck needs to lose some weight (I've gotten too heavy to fly), so it's for the best.

Well the only thing I even got or kept from the first year was one green piece of candy! lol  And, I traded about half of the next year to the furni exchange too!     And, I so meant to keep the candy originally! If anyone has any of any of the years that is way extra I would love to trade. I think I did keep most of this past years candy thank goodness!

I know we have candies from all of the last 3 years. Finding us to trade can be difficult, but hopefully the cauldrons themselves will be tradeable/giftable. Then, we can send cauldrons out to friends. If not, we will have to find time to trade. Glad to help!!!

I was able to trade the Cauldron from funfly to my spare and back again for those wanting to know if it trades.

The cauldron does trade.

The pin that you get when you turn in the candy - does NOT trade. (at least for now, not sure if they will change that)

Hugs Fun!   I noticed that about the pins also. I sent in a help request because we have been gifting cauldrons and we did all the candy trades on King's sidekick - so he has all of the pins.

I got no reply, but when I checked today, the pins do now appear in the trade window! Don't know if it was a glitch or if they changed it after some help reports! Either way- yay!  

Edit to Add: The pins also now show up as an item that can be sent as a gift!

Read on another Forum, that we are now able to open these Cauldrons.  They are reporting that you are not able to carry the empty Cauldron.  That is incorrect, as you will see below.  You are currently, able to carry the empty Cauldron.

I tested it myself, and the only difference is that your Cauldron will be empty when placing as furniture in your space.  You will still be able to carry it, and it does still show the "green-fogish" appearance.  Once opened, the candy that you put into it, will be in a pile in your space.  The cauldron is also in the pile.  It will need to go back into your inventory, if you wish to carry it.

The only warning that I can see thus far with opening the Cauldron, is that it will lose its "full" appearance, when placed as furniture.  So if you only have 1 Cauldron, choose what you want to do with it wisely!
