Wow!!!  I had totally forgotten about the West Edmonton Mall.  I was there about a bizillion years ago.  Do they still have the ice skating rink there?

What happened to the submarines? or was that a different mall?

:thumbs: Yep, same mall - I guess they were too expensive to upkeep and the submarines were 'sunk' into the water around the pirate ship.  They also don't have the dolphin show anymore - now there is a 'seal' show ('trained' seals) with a really cute little penguin in the show and a bunch of pink flamingos and under the 'seal' pool is a 'under-the-sea' area with many kinds of fish, etc on display.  They also have a HUGE wave pool/ waterslide area that is a lot of fun.  My daughter's favorite area (after shopping) is the rides though - they have a small (but fun) rollercoaster, etc.
We had lots of fun (spent FAR to much money  :'(  )

-Yes, it still does have a large ice rink in the middle too - we don't ever go on it... see enough ice around here as it is  :lolp:
