***  Note:  we are extending the entry date for the Rumble in the Jungle Ride competition until September 17th, 2011. Judging will start on Sunday, September 18th, 2011! ***

I am so excited that they extended the timeline to enter!  :wavet: Because of real life, I have not been able to enter a building type of contest since the garden competition. I have a few ideas for this event, so I think I'm going to try to enter! Thanks VFK! This will give me time to work on building a little bit each day. Good Luck to everyone!!!  :bighug:

I, too, am glad they extended this date! Perhaps I'll be able to do something "quick and easy" for this since real life has been taking over so much these past weeks.

Since I have been ill I never got to make a Jungle Ride Room, but the contest says it can be any ride room so I am going to enter my old holiday ride room since its the only ride room I have (Mom has no ride rooms).  I wish everyone luck and I just hope my back holds out for the judging.

If your Mom wants....just buy a beginner pack at Merlin of River Ride and toss it in any of her already built rooms.  Enter it with a short ride.  At least it would be a built room with a short ride :)

The Rumble in the Jungle Competition judging has now commenced!  If you entered the Rumble in the Jungle Competition you will find the "Judge Rooms" option under your Menu Button.
 You may need to refresh to see the "Judge Rooms" option.

That is a good idea Fun, but sorry we didn't do it this time.  I entered my old holiday room (3 rooms) one so its all good.  :)  I won't win, but it will be a blast getting to ride other people's rides like the nice ride that Tiger built.  Great work Tiger and gl all!  :2thunbs:

Saw some pretty amazing rooms as King and I were judging. I had an initial idea for a 3 room ride based on the Enchanted Tiki Room, but only had real life time to build one room. We missed a lot of "tiki" items this summer, so I think I'm going to start fresh after trading for some items and go forward with a Tiki Room without a competition. I want the time to make it look like the real thing.

I was so happy to just build again in game. I have been so busy with therapy and other real life, it felt good to relax a bit! On a side note, all of my time off this summer has paid off. I worked so hard all summer to be able to use the indoor pool at our local YMCA. (instead of driving 20-30 minutes to another Y) Our local YMCA is only about 3 minutes from our house, but the indoor pool is down 24 steps. I am happy to say that I made it down the steps for my water therapy and back up when finished - 48 steps total, plus the 8 steps into the building!!! Yay!!!  :dance2: :dance3:

Hope I saw some winning NoBS rooms while judging. I don't expect to place this time around, but I sure had fun building and judging! Hugs! :hug: :bighug:

So glad to hear they Y swimming therapy has paid off!  :dance3:

I saw some awesome rooms as well; but I'm looking forward to seeing all of our NoBS's rooms sometime!

I like the prizes...but the jungle stump chair seemed a little strange in the collection to me. Perhaps would have been better had they given us 2 of the stump chairs.
