HOST_Jade's Spinner Game on 03-30-11

I am not sure if this is posted already so if it is sorry about the double post, but wanted to remind people about the spinner game.  I got this pop up:

HOST_Jade's spinner game starts and the top of the hour and will run for 3 hours tonight. Check the HOST Room Tab on the popular room list.
 
Winners get their choice of the Saturn Rocket End Table Top or Bottom.  Consolation prize will be the Saturn Rocket Couch.  Hope to see you there.

Thanks Krazy.  Hmmm...odds of getting in the Q at all=100:1.  Odds of winning if you get in the room:20:1.  Better find a good book to read  :P

Yep, I've got screens open on 2 computers, "Queue Full" on all of them for almost an hour now.

I'm doing something else on another screen and just checking the queues every few minutes. I was really bummed to see how difficult these tables are going to be to obtain. I even tried the Host Hunt yesterday. Don't ask.  :lolg:

But, some of the tables for sale might be better for my Pizza Planet Booths. (Ever seen a both with a  round table? :lolg: ) So, I'm having fun doing something else while I wait.

PS - Why would I want the bottom half of a table? Isn't that like choosing the "rear" end of my dog? If I am going to choose a half, give me the top/front.  :rofl1: :rofl1: :rofl1:

I was awfully mad during this Host Event and had a whole entire page saying why, but decided not to post it.  Short version is, I was mad cause they let someone cut me to spin the wheels after I waited 2 and 1/2 hours to get in there (Mom didn't get in at all) and she won.  Then when I spun, even though I was before the other girl, I lost.  I explain in help that I didn't think it was fair and after no replies I sent the same message on another person.  After two tries with the new person sending in a help message they then sent a warning for a ban saying I was being disruptive.  Say what?

Long story short, my feelings were hurt and I was second guessing playing this game.  I want the game to be fair for all and cheats, like this girl, shouldn't be allowed to win which I still think should of been my win since it was my time to spin.  Sigh, thank goodness I have friends on here that no what I mean and hugs for all their help.  Thanks for listening.  :bighug:

Seriously (repeating myself), this game is an almost complete waste of time.  It's the most INefficient game that VFK has ever created, I think.  Waiting for 3 hours to MAYBE get in once or twice (using 3 computers and God-only-knows-how-many-tabs) is bad enough.  Having to then almost assuredly LOSE both those times make this game a train wreck.  

The Flames will not be participating in this spinner game anymore.  Boycott time.  There's much more productive things I can think of to do in 2-3 hours than this ridiculous event.  VFK should be  :paddle:   for this.   :td:

Oh...did I mention all the people who the hosts have to chase because they try to cheat if they lose by running to the winning portal?  Well done, VFK.   :uhuh2:

Well, what made it even worse was that the Host was the one to tell her to step right up to the wheels while I was on my way to them to spin them.  Not even a sorry was uttered and this girl had tried to cut the ENTIRE line when she first came into the room.  It felt like to me that they knew it was a winner and since I am not a member they wanted her to win and not me.  Plus she was shouting things like "Jade, I love you!" and "Can I be on your friend's list please Jade." which made it look bad for the Host who let her in front of me when it was my turn.

I just asked to be awared the prize as well because it was my spin turn, but instead I get labelled as disruptive.  Well, I wouldn't have to send in so many help messages if you would reply to the first one.  I mean I know they get busy, but why have a help button in the first place if you aren't going to help people?  I mean I know its only a pixelated table, but what got me steamed is that there was no apology or any explanation.  I was simple labelled disruptived.
