Thanks Astro.  What the HECK are they thinking with people trying to collect party favors?!!!!  .It messaged staff to ask if they would extend party favors because of the host hunt.  No response.  Shock...  Ridiculous

No response because they were running host hunt  

As of this morning 10:57 am east - party favors are still being picked up.



Just a "side" thought:  The ones who operate the game probably figure there was plenty of time for what might be "average player" which only has:  (And I have met others in the game who have only the following amounts of clones as stated below in 1 & 2)

1 - One avatar
2 - One main avatar plus maybe 2-3 spares  (even 5-6 maybe)

This would have left plenty of time to collect favors for those and participate with host hunt.

While the game has allowed many clones; this may be one of the ways they are allowing people to decide for themselves of 1-running lots of clones or 2-participate in more than one thing.  I can truly say that in VMK I had a main and towards the end of the game perhaps 5 clones; no more.  This game I do have more. If I want the bags, I'll run the clones - but if there is something else going on I'll choose which I want more.  Some bags and then off for the other games, chancing that I can get some more of the bags later as well.  Either that or learn 'speed typing'

Maybe I should have picked up some party bags (I had only picked up one at the time of the pop-up), instead of trying to do Host Hunt.  

I didn't win.  Lesson learned - I'd rather pick up some party favors.  Even though I don't have a bunch of clones either.

Yeah, it's always been uncool for VFK to run multiple events at the same time.  I put off gathering party favors because I had been doing the micro quests instead of the ball.  Then I bought the outfits and the rest of the V-day stuff that I completely missed when it first was released (you know...real life intervened).  I was in the middle of trading the newly-purchased items to a clone when the host hunt came up.  Obviously, host hunts are 'priority' in the order of events.

I think alot of ppl were 'put out' by the surprise host hunt.  It certainly would have made life easier for the 'above average', 'below average', 'unaverage'    players if VFK could have sent out a blast saying the favors would be extended.  Certainly not asking too much of VFK in having them do that.  Then again, a simple response from VFK is certainly concerned 'NOT average'.  In fact, I would call it almost 'non-existent' (short of phoning them). 

Since VFK is trying to 'please all people', I think it doesn't matter how many clones you have or not.  They need to think of ALL players when running events.  Even those with lag. 

I also think the 'average' player has around 10 clones.  But anyone placing a number on that is seriously only guessing.  Only VFK knows.  I think there's alot more people...with alot more clones...than alot of people think.  That's saying alot   LOL
