Chinese New Year

FEBRUARY 2, 2011 3:29 PM

Chinese New Year falls on the Third of February this year, and it's the Year of the Rabbit. To celebrate, we have a special Chinese New Year mission, and we'll give you a free gift for completing it!

Lush Green Bamboo!
We're also releasing a gorgeous new item into Garden Life - a stand of Bamboo! I've already got a few of them and created a lovely corner in my garden where I like to go and relax after a hard day at work.

These will add a great Asian-inspired look to any outdoor (or indoor) space. l really do feel a lovely sense of calm and relaxation sitting amongst my lush bamboo.

2011: The Year of the Rabbit
According to the Chinese Zodiac, the Year of the Golden Rabbit is supposed to be a lucky year, one that will be the messenger of cool and calm and allow us to catch our breath.

To celebrate, we've got a fun and easy mission for you to complete. Just visit Zi Zhu Yuan, a famous Bamboo Garden located in the fragrant hills of Northern China.

Join Jade, your friendly Rabbit guide, and together you'll run for your lives from Huane, the Giant Panda who thinks you'd make a rather delicious snack! You'll teach Huane a more peaceful way of living (and eating).

When you complete the mission, we'll give you a Rare Chinese Dragon Firework as a gift.  It's reusable, so you can let it off again and again - it will really help you celebrate the Chinese New Year!

Happy Chinese New Year!
Make sure you pay a visit to Zi Zhu Yuan and complete the mission to get your very own Rare reusable Dragon Firework. And don't forget to head to Garden Life for some lush green bamboo so you can create a peaceful corner of calm within your own garden.

The write-up says the firecracker is re-useable; but the item itself does not say that.

I do wish it said it on it's 'pop-up item box' - that's the only way i remember those things.

That would be nice.  I keep all my 'single-use' stuff in storage.  I don't like to use things that don't let me use them again.  LOL
