Well...season is getting near...any feelings about the rule changes and how the different series will be affected?

New pavement at Daytona looks to be a good thing, we'll have to see what happens when they race on it.

I thought it was funny today when Darrell Waltrip said that the new championship points changes were a ploy to de-throne Jimmie Johnson. Rofl! There might be something to that. Nice new track surface today at Daytona as well. Congrats to the new kid for winning! I sure wish Mark Martin could have pulled it off. It seems that at Daytona you just have to be in the right place at the end...........FIRST!!

The kid drove a great race...beginner's luck or not...he was fast and smooth and out front at the end.

I agree papaduck. I also like the fact that he drove clean and respected the other more experienced drivers. Seems like a class act. I loved it when he said in his post race interview that he "never expected to be sitting in here.'' He then added, "So I'm sorry to be all bouncing around while I'm giving you my answers, but I figure it's just a dream anyway.''   :lolg: Cute.
