VFK Crayon Quest!

7:00 A.M. Pacific Time Sunday, September 5th, 2010 to 10:00 P.M. Pacific Time Monday, September 6th, 2010.

Many first works of art are created using simple colored wax sticks called crayons. These art tools are such a part of our modern lives, that we take them for granted, but up until the late 1800's and early 1900's, crayons were expensive and difficult to obtain. On today's quest we are going to look into the fabulous history of crayons!

Your reward for completing this quest will be 1,000 credits, and a Crayon Box Chair!

Interesting prize.  Wonder if this will fold up like the pencil chair somehow?

 :lolg:  Most colorful quest item I think - makes me want to pull out some coloring books!

edit:  So this item is only a seat- does not open/close; but it does look pretty good and you can sit on it no matter which direction it's turned.....or at least the 3 sides I checked  :thumb:

Thanks Astro and Krazy!  Alot of color, yes.  But each time I go to sit on it, I want to say OUCH!!  :cry:

I'm more of a paint my numbers kind of gal, lol, actually maybe that will be next weeks quest.  A big coloring book that we can color in some pictures and send the pics to friends like we send each other the cards.  :hmmmm:  I think kids would love doing something like that.  :)
