7/5 Prize for Word Search ~ Tubular Lamp

I don't see this posted any place yet, so I thought I would post:

There is a lamp being given out for the Word Search puzzle!  I don't even know how often this puzzle comes out, other than I was talking to the winner of the 11:30 pm one last night when he suddenly said "OMG I just got a lamp from this puzzle".

It is called a Tubular Lamp and it looks really cool!  I am awaiting word as to whether it ONLY the winner who gets this lamp, or whether they are being given out randomly like when they had the crossword outfits for the word search puzzle.

I am sure Astro will use her skills to go find the picture posted elsewhere, I will not even attempt to, LOL.

As soon as I find out if the "random" thing is happening, I will update this post.

'Totally Tubular!'  LOL  (someone had to say it) ;)

I'll have to see won of these live to give it an official rating, but it looks pretty in the pic.  Hope we find out soon if it's not just awarded to the first place puzzle winner.  My guess is that it will be like the crossword.  Although there never is anything predictable when it comes to VFK.   :notme:

This is the first time I am seeing this post and was wondering if this is the first lamp the Word Search puzzle is giving out?  I gave up on the crossword puzzles, but love Word Search puzzles so I hope they keep this up.

First Lamp for Word Search - Yes.  First prize for Word Search - No.   Crossword outfits were also awarded from the Word Search.

I've heard (not from staff) that they are random.  Time to do some word search ;)

Personally confirmed that they are random ;) :yes!:

I rate them 8 flames out of 10 on the Flame-o-meter for sheer coolness and originality :)

NOTE:  YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE ANY NOTIFICATION THAT YOU GOT A LAMP!!!!   YOU MUST CHECK YOUR INVENTORY AFTER EVERY PUZZLE.  Convenient, no?   :hmm:

girl, yes -- stop listening to rumors in game.  Most of the time, they are wrong.

If and WHEN, VFK does update their Homepage information -- They usually sort things out.  With the Crossword Outfit...The Homepage actually DID say it was awarded for both the Crossword and Word Search puzzles (winners and randomly).

Thanks Astro, unfortunately I don't get to read everything cause I am in and out so much so I used to just go by what was told to me in the game.  :doh:  Thanks for the help though.  :hug:
