I am thrilled about grass carpets. Not sure what I can use dirt carpets for, but hey, you never know.

So people want a good old fashioned fish pond for their gardens; just with pretty fish in it,

'Koi' are a type of fish.  A pond is usually a smallish, contained body of water...sometimes manmade.  Some people mix the two and add decorative plants and objects to make it look pretty in their yard, and title it a 'koi pond'.  Voila.
