Today's update:

Just got off phone with Grumpy.  He is, as expected, bored.  Not feeling too bad, just hoping to get out on Monday.  Blood work shows the clot is slowly beginning to dissolve!

He says Hi to all, thanks again for well wishes.

His daughter is on the way in to see him and bringing a laptop.  If he can get a wireless connection he may even post!

Thanx for the update Duck!
I hope the laptop can help alleviate the boredom of being in the hospital and I REALLY hope he has good roomates!

Today's update:

The clot has not completed dissolving yet.  No chance for gnome to roam for another day or two. :(

If we offer to throw a party, will it speed the recovery?

Didn't he just have a party to go into the hospital?   :lol:  Different reason, I know.   :)

Hope they let you out of there soon Grumpy! 

I know how awful it is being in the hospital for more than a couple of days!  My husband is bored to death and driving me crazy after his emergency double bypass last Thursday.

Hope to see you back in the garden soon my friend!

Today's update:

Well, seems the gnome enjoys the hospital  :rofl1: (sorry gnome, couldn't resist) , so has chosen to stay until Friday.

Doctor is hoping that by staying until Friday, the clot will have dissolved enough to allow him to go home with "pill" blood thinners to finish the job (as opposed to still needing injections).  He is understandably bored, but in good spirits.

I passed on the hugs and wishes.. he is grateful that people still remember him!   ::) Like we could forget!  :slap:

Sorry, I couldn't resist. Hope that thing dissolves and ya get sprung out of that place. We are all pulling for ya Gnome.

Heal and get better, the hospital staff could probably use a break. :roflmao:

Please try and find a better way to "get away from it all" next time, and keep the gnome home.

Thank Yo all for the hugs and well wishes. Yes I am home finally but still very very weak. I hope to make it on the game later this afternoon but no promises. Even doing the smallest things wear me out right now. Thanks again for all the thoughst and wishes my nobs and VMK friends
