New "Epic" Maps 2-19-2010

With the opening of "Icetastic!", VFK has changed the map layout in game. The following is a pictorial guide of the changes and new map areas.

Main Map with new "Epic Ages" tab (replacing Space Age tab)


"Epic Ages" tab takes you directly to the Space Age map (to return to main map, go to Historic Ages)

Map for Faerie Age:

***Note, you must have your Fairy Enchantment activated to enter this map. If not, you will end up at the Victorian Crossroads (Balta Street)

Map for Merfolk Age:

***Note - you must be wearing your Merfolk Enchantment pin to enter this map. If you are not wearing the Merfolk Enchantment, you will end up at the Sydney Opera House

Absolutely amazing!  Thanks for posting them up, Wendy!  Beautiful maps...and thankful they finally arrived!   :clapping:

If I had one thing to criticize, it would be the font for 'Epic Ages' (for some reason, it catches my eye wrong and doesn't appeal to me), and some of the fonts (while pretty) on some of the other tabs are a teeny bit hard to read for me.  A small quibble for such a huge deal as the maps, though!  And just a matter of personal preference :)

Flamanar...wonders when the VFK GPS will be released?... :hmmmm:

I got one in my VFK car already.  That's why I always go the wrong way and spin around alot.  Hehehe.  :lolg:

Thanks for all the screen shots, Princess!    :hug:    I like this new idea with mapping these Epic areas.  Maybe they will get used more often now.   :hmmmm:

I noticed there isa new room on the Faerie map - Moonlit Lily Pond. I, however, cannot enter that room yet - anyone else?  :hmmmm:

I tried also...couldn't enter it.  But I am so looking forward to seeing it in the future!

I too couldn't get in there last night, but I also couldn't see a car in the Night Time Seattle room on the Open Road map.  I see the room, but no car comes up for me to drive either with or without my car pin on.  Can anyone else get a car there?  I wonder if its just my slow computer.

I could not see a car either when I entered there from the map.  Somewhat confused why they have the Open Road on a map if we need to go to our garage to get in the car first.

Actually I asked Enigma on the map when the Open Road map had been released on how we get the cars there. She went silent, so I assume either she has something up her sleeve or I stumped once again the developers and they cursed under their breaths.

Really like the maps, nicely done.
