OK: what's the deal with the black screens???

You used the "log off" from their Menu Button? Or you just closed your window?

Wondering if I should check me when I close window.

Knock on wood, no black screens for me so far. I use IE.

I usually just back out of the screen and not use the menu log off button.  It has happened many times to my guy but only once with the rest of the families people.  I hope my guy didn't get a bug.  :(

Well, we had black screens again tonight once things got busy in game when the epic quest was available. We still had the weird one screen would have BSOD (Black Screen of Death) and the other would not. I used the good screen to have the other character follow to locations. But, it certainly slowed me down. I usually run through hunts/quests in pairs, but not with BSOD. It seems to go away at less busy times, so we think this is a VFK issue. :hmmmm:
