Seriously? Oh my gosh!

The kids and I have had this flu junk for over a week. I got on Sunday for a bit, but haven't even been able to get on the computer myself until today. King got on last night reading all of the new stuff and I almost passed out!

We missed several scavenger hunts and more - but you know what? I don't even care at this point. I mean, let's take an item, ie. a paper lantern or pumpkin on a a stick and make 30 variations of it.

Then let's take the holidays, when families are busy enough and make them sit in front of the computer 24 hours a day to get all of this virtual stuff. Too much can take the fun out of things. I am almost afraid for what Christmas holds now.

I too have extra stuff so no worries.Would make the time consuming hunts worth smothing more than paper on a stick worth doing. I wonder if my not so nice message to the help on VFK did something. I am sure I was not the only one that was upset that a host hunt was going on the same time.

And true to my words viola a new hunt was launched at 11:00 PM. So it had to be done that night.

Now what east coasters would be up at that time very few.

BUt the communication has not really improved they always announce the special ballroom dance.

I wonder if I will be enjoying christmas in February if they roll out the stuff like this. oh my.

LOL agreed. When it rains it pours?! Beggars can't be choosers?! Be careful what you wish for?! More than enough is too much?!
Thank you VFK for the update on what to expect. There is definitely a lot of hard work going on over in VFK developer land with all the new items. Now we KNOW that we will need lots of coffee, tea, and maybe some pixie port.

Princess (hugs and I hope you are all feeling better) and others, I have extras of a few of the items too except for that orange ghost lantern. I didn't do many of the earlier ones because eh they are just lanterns. I made sure to do the scavenger hunt yesterday evening as we thought it would be switched soon. We were wrong though, it wasn't a purple one. Hmm, unless more is still to come...

I wish they would sell a credit growing tree.

hunt prizes likely to change in scavenger and mansion (and maybe even host hunt prize change)

Midnight Ball 10pm pacific
Trick or Treating - not until evening
hunt prizes likey to change in scavenger and mansion

Ball 12pm pacific
New Quest
Trick or treating - continues
hopefully hunt prizes don't change again that day

And to top it all off, the next weekend starts the Fall Fashions, so beware of any current fashions in stores disappearing.

And then, Woot! Epic quest for transportation! Will goldengourd get her little yellow car again?

With all the 'ups and downs' lately with our emotions and VFK, I think the 'transportation' will be either elevators or pogo sticks...

ok, there is something in the wording describing the Epic Quest that scares me: there is a beginning and an end date! Am I just showing my stress level here, or do you think this means that the quest will only be available for a limited time??

Well, hugs and thanks for offers of lanterns from everyone. We really don't need them, though, we have so many of the other ones. I was just really grouchy yesterday and sick of being sick. Had so much trouble breathing with this cough, we thought we were going to have to take a trip to the ER. But, I am up and moving a little more today and have a Dorothy costume to hem. Poor King already had to make her ruby slippers. Can I just say, even the dog has red glitter all over him.

Hugs everybody - I can always have King try to call VFK later about the quest.

A little clarification from Age on the "Radiation Magic":

You receive it "if you trick or treat in enough rooms". That's what they mean by 'for the most determined'.

Just wanted to add here for the record that the second ball (not sure about the third as I didn't go to that one) had a surprise: VFK made everyone appear transparent. It was cool being able to look through everyone. Just wanted to add it here...for historical purposes
