How about those 'Real Items' we were supposed to get???

Others have said that the items were 'freebies' or 'extras'...therefore, we shouldn't miss them.  ROFL.  Pardon me while I adjust my IQ setting down so I can digest that statement.  Frankly, I paid for my memberships because the real items made the package a value that I thought was fair and was willing to pay.  About 30%+ of my decision to purchase the packages was based on receiving the real items.  How can anyone say the real items have no value?  They had ALOT of value to many people who were hesitant to fork over their hard-earned money.  I guess to people who have money trees, it's not a loss to them at all...

1+ years of 'patience'?  Wow...wonder when it's 'socially acceptable' to run out of patience...  :hmmmm:

Flamanar...paid for a package...waiting for the rest of it...patience ran out about 11 months ago...

OK I paid the same amount as you did. But refused the shipping so I think I got ripped off :)

ScarlettPixie:
The Case of the Missing real VFK items.

This is a case Nancy Drew will never solve... :rofl1:

flamanar:
Talked to Gail yesterday on the phone concerning the whereabouts of the 'real items'.  This is what she told me:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale,
A tale of a fateful trip
That started from this tropic port
Aboard this tiny ship.

The mate was a mighty sailing man,
The skipper brave and sure.
Five passengers set sail that day
For a three hour tour, a three hour tour.

The weather started getting rough,
The tiny ship was tossed,
If not for the courage of the fearless crew
The Minnow would be lost, the Minnow would be lost.

The ship set ground on the shore of this uncharted desert isle
With Gilligan
The Skipper too,
The millionaire and his wife,
The movie star
The professor and Mary Ann,
Here on Gilligan's Isle.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So there you have it.  Once the passengers of the Minnow are rescued, I'm sure the missing 'real items' will be found with them.  LOL

OK...so the real answer is:  not a clue.  The only thing they know is that the boomerangs were shipped to VFK.  Wella.  I think the long version above is much more interesting, though... :P

Flamanar...yeah...sometimes ya gotta laugh or you'll cry... :waveb:

funfly:
Oh gosh! Flame, as I read your post...I was singing that!

This is the slowest boat ever though.

I too enjoyed the long version. I guess they can not go live till they find the castaways :) Now if memory serves me right the program lasted a very short time and it took 10 years before they had the movie of the rescue of the castaways. For all you guys that is a long wait.
