May 3rd Closing on Main Street

It seems many NoBSers were out and about riding each others rides and getting "salon makeovers". (or makeunders

) Many of us ended up on Main Street for closing with Vintage, green sheep, and lots of fans! I am pretty sure it was Flame, .It, King, myself, Purpleduck, Purrypaws, and ScarlettPixie in total. So much fun and a little less lag for me tonight. King snapped some pics for me since I was on the computer we are getting ready to send off to service - boo.he!

So, here are a few shots of closing with Vintage trying to fan King's gas away - but to no avail!

Not only was my lag bad enough that I only got to say two lines, in those last 10 minutes.. but I never saw ANY green lambs at all.

But it was fun to see the fans and watch the bantering between those who could speak

I do want to thank those that were on tonight, who let me get a chance to see their contest rooms. They were awesome!

Too funny last night! You missed her entry though-- which was comical.

Vintage did not enter from the gaslight entrance (note- historical correct term) but she entered from the crossroads entrance. At the time, it was only myself and Ormonddude... I was surprised at her entrance.

Vintage greeted us, to which I answered, "OMG Age! you scared me!"

Her reply, "@_@"

I stated that she did not enter from her usual entrance, to which she replied. "Oh, I was walking this time because of all the Easter goodies!"

May 4th Main Street Closing

I was on tonight trying to catch up on quests - I am like Happy with quests this week, just a bit behind.

So, Daisy, DreamTulip, and I meet up...King wakes up, and Disco shows up - and voila a closing party on Main Street! Hugs and Night Friends!

May 8th Main Street Closing

Well, I have been having a couple of totally "blech" days, so King suggests a little 20 minute close on VFK to lift my spirits!

All I can say is that laughter is merry like a medicine!

And with no nasty side efects like dry mouth, fatigue, constipation, swelling in the hands and feet, etc.

(OK, a little medicine humor there)

Needless to say, it was lots of fun to dance and joke with friends as we said good night. We are so thankful for all of our VFK and NoBS friends - Hugs and Sweet Dreams!

The fans aren't for the sheep...speaks for itself when King is present!

I...for one...thoroughly enjoyed the National Geographic channel tonight! It's been such a long time since I've.......huh?.......what's that?.....not the National........oh........my bad.

Yeah, nothing like a closing party featuring gorilla but.

Maybe next party we'll get a closeup look at rhino but! Elephant but? OMG. I am so there!

LOL.

I missed alot of the banter tonight since I was IM'ed alot. Sigh. I just hope that there is a more...erm...entertaining channel on next closing party.

But seeing Wendy and King and the others was still an awesome way to end the night

OMG Fun! I'm a HUGE Carol Burnett show fan! Tim Conway and Harvey Corman. Sigh. Too many times I had pains in my sides from laughing so hard! That clip is a CLASSIC! ROFL. It's amazing some of the incredibly funny things they came up with on that show.

...and yes...last night was educational...something I always look forward to in a closing party! lol.

King and I hopped on VFK about 10 minutes before the closing bell. No gorillas tonight, but we did have a Littlebelle sighting.

It was a small group tonight, but I got a picture of us saying goodnight! Hugs Hugs!

Last night Age decided to take out all the sheep, and I mean all the sheep!! She had 69 Green sheep out! And then took out yellow ducks and pink/blue cauldrons to dye the birds purple for our own PurpleDuck!!!

May 20th - Main Street Closing

Well, King and I returned home from a little American Idol Finale Party and decided to hop on and relax with a little closing fun - no drama included.

There ended up being quite a crew there and we tried to form a huge dance line

, but there were too many sheep and fans in the way!

I did manage to get a few pics. I cannot express how thankful I am for all of our wonderful friends here. What a warm and wonderful way to end the evening! Hugs!

May 21st Closing on Main Street - VFK Anniversary Eve!

Tonight Vintage hosted a Beta themed party on Main Street and we all said good night with visions of birthday fun dancing in our heads. Or maybe we were all just high from King's gas? Hugs everyone and Sweetest of Dreams!

May 22nd - Main Street Anniversary Closing

Well, King and I got home and literally logged in with just enough time to start the Anniversary Quest to finish later, run through the scavenger hunt and find our way to Main Street with only about four minutes until the closing bell! Phew!

I am not sure if any items were out on Main Street, but we were too late for them to show up in the pics. So, there is a chance what I am about to post is nothing of what it really looked like. But saw lots of NoBS friends and others there to say Good Night! What an exciting time! Hugs and Sweet Beta Dreams!

After the closing, I would up in the garden and who enters.... VFK_Surfer! Wearing a bikini top and a hula skirt! Woot! We wound up having a Beach party in the garden and then in her room. She handed out torches (as she is not allowed of course to give out Surfs...) before the party closed at 2 am Eastern.

Will post pics later today.

Also, anoyone receive the Gold sheep from Vintage? It is not in my inventory as yet. Just wondering.

Wow. Missed Surfer! I did go back onto game later after catching up here on the forum. Hit the map and ran into a bunch of ppl from NOBS there! Met Souper and Astro for the first time! Also bumped into Crazy Kim and Disco and I think 1 or 2 others from here (can't remember because I was on the verge of collapsing lol). Really glad I took some extra time to check VFK, or I wouldn't have gotten to meet and hang for a few minutes with some of the nicest ppl on VFK!

....and no....neither Flamanette nor I have received the Gold porcupine...I mean "sheep" we were supposed to get from last night.

It did seem like a mini-NoBS reunion last night!

I don't think I've ever been on when BOTH Astro and Krazy were on together! So, it was an extra special treat to have Happy and Flame join us.

Later that night, Astro, Krazy and I ended up in my Beach Party room! This was after closing and all of the sudden, all the VFK night owls starting drifting in to join us. What a blast!! We ended up having a visit from these spectacular VFK acrobats, including our very own Ms. Krazy Kim!!

I met Iolanthe (I hope I spelled her name right), Consider and Nebula and they proceeded to entertain us with a VFK Player Stacking show. Have you folks seen this yet?? It's amazing! With the new Hop motion feature, you can stand on each other's heads!! I had seen it earlier in the day with players starting from the bottom of the screen to the top.

They tried to teach us how to do it. Krazy figured it out, but I didn't have any luck, so I acted as a base person.

I tried to snap some photos, but I was doing something wrong and I only got one photo. Iolanthe said she had photos.

Anyway, the party was still going on full force at 3 am Pacific and I was fading fast (just before I left, more people were joining us!), so I had to say goodbye. Who knows, those people might still be in there!

I have yet to see the people stacking, can't wait for that! Iolanthe and Con are both so very sweet, Disco. We knew their family on VMK as they are homeschoolers also. Woot for late night fun with friends! Great stories everyone - ty for sharing!

I had so much fun last night too! Although silly me was too busy watching the sunset, that I didn't snap any pictures!

Thanks for the fun Disco, Krazy, Flame, Happy! It was nice to have finally met you in the game too Flame!

So the million dollar question is.... - drum roll - does the sun actually set in that new room, does the color of the sunset change from yellow to orange, OR does the sunset do nothing at all, and we are all a bunch of looney tunes for sitting there watching our screens for it to actually change right before our eyes?!!

Oh Disco, I think "Mickle" is still stuck in the Mansion somewhere.

And the "Egg Lady" is still guarding her Eggs!

I have yet to see the stacking show of people too. I want to see that, sounds funny!

Lots happening on Main Street tonight. Vintage brought out a few pizza items to show everyone. Of course, King tried to ruin the pizza by, well, you know...

Then, we all said our good nights. I have to say, while all of the new features and events can be overwhelming - time with friends is worth its weight in gold! Hugs and Night Friends!

Oh Astro! The "Egg Lady" took a major break from guarding her eggs to join Cirque Du VFKStackers!! Iolanthe and Con were able to enchant her with thoughts of joining the VFK circus and lured her away for awhile!!

But then just a little before I said goodnight, she starting missing the eggs again!

Oh, and please people, save us from our misery!!

Astro isn't kidding when she said we sat there wondering if we were seeing changes to the sunset in that room. You should have heard our debate!!

That sun is kind of blinding too! I could feel that I needed a serious dose of sun screen.

Princess, I'm so glad you know Iolanthe (She told us some nicknames but I can't remember them. I believe one is lamb.ie??) and Con. I was impressed with their interaction with us last night and I'm glad you confirmed their good character! I think Krazy previously knew them.

What a special way to start the 1st Anniversary Celebration!

Iolanthe and Consider are fantastic. I have seen their acrobatics, being part of it. LOL. I am now used to being a furnish.

Con makes the most incredible rooms. I have not seen Iolanthe's creations as yet, but from Consider's talent, I am certain that they are amazing as well. Very talented and sweet people!

May 27th - Main Street Closing

Well, many of us were resting tonight to avoid a nervous breakdown due to scavenger hunt overload.

Our DD was soooo excited to be up and on for a closing tonight, so I snapped a few pics. Well, actually, she was sitting here saying, "please get a picture, mom.", "Did you get a picture of that?". It was too cute. Thanks to everyone here for saying Hi to her and making her feel welcome.

So good to see everyone - I hope everybody else is rested up and getting a good night sleep. Hugs friends.

Nitro stacked gold flamingos and PrincessRed stacked fans - oh yeah, she has had practice with King.

The chat here was behind what we could see happening, but gas on purpleducks head can not be good...

This picture is funny because I did not notice it until I cropped it. We spent a few good minutes trying to dance Au Revoir. Rosie finally came up with Oh.Rev.our and we all laughed. Then at the bell, Vintage quietly sneaks an "Au Revoir" in. Show off! hehe

We tried to form a dance line on Main Street tonight, but got preoccupied with gas containment, green sheep, and someone who does not like ducks!

After telling Age about Flamanar's gas containment room, she built one for King on Main Street...

Someone dared to say she did not like ducks! Way too many ducks and duck lovers in the room for that!
