OK, so April Fool's Day is always lots of fun around our house. This year, I decided to have a go at the VFK Staff. I sent in a "Help" message April 1st stating that King and I were infuriated by this and that. I wrote that we would be calling first thing in the morning to cancel all of our memberships, etc. etc.. I then hit return about 10 times and wrote APRIL FOOLS! I then signed it with a little message and sent it in.
This morning, I was on early and had an issue I needed to use "Help" to resolve. Vintage came to where I was and we figured out the problem. She said Enigma was also on her way. I thought maybe Enigma just wanted to see the giant cake as I was in the Birthday room at the time. So Enigma enters the room and all of a sudden a chalk outline of a body labeled, "STAFF" was on the floor of the room. It seems my little joke did indeed fool whoever read it and they flipped out. So, they all got together to try to think of something to get me back.
Enigma created the chalk outline for the poor staff that keeled over when they read the beginning of my message.
They laid it down in the room for a while as we chatted and then Vintage used the April Shower magic to "wash" the chalk away.
Funniest part is, they have been trying to find me for the past 4 days or so, because I got sick after April Fool's Day and have only logged on for daily credits.
I just thought I would share because I really think it is great to have staff and developers who have such a hysterical sense of humor. Also, for creating it on the fly, the chalk outline looked pretty cool. I also noticed Vintage walked and stood on it, so maybe we will be seeing carpet pieces soon? So, everyone be careful out there, we are already one staff member shy...
