RAINBOW CONNECTION
Ride Building Event and Video

Calling all NoBS room builders and VFK players!!! While listening to "The Rainbow Connection" from The Muppet Movie, I thought it would be so fun to create a video using that beautiful music. With the new rainbow furnishings and all of the new building rooms and furnishings/ride pieces, the time seems right to get ready to create. So, I am asking friends here on NoBS and room builders we know in VFK to create some great rooms with a "rainbow" theme. The room can be a ride or just a simple room. It doesn't have to be anything fancy, just have something rainbow themed somewhere in the room. If you're interested, post here or send me a pm. We won't be connecting the rooms with teleporters, I will be coming around once rooms are finished to video capture and take pics of your rooms for the video. Everyone will, of course, be recognized for their creations as I did in our Halloween video.

To give everyone enough time to create some awesome rooms, could we sign up and have rooms ready by Tuesday, April 14th ? I can come around to rooms starting now through Friday, April 17th. Then, I can take the weekend to put the video together. Sound like fun to anyone? Hopefully, we can get some really fun and unique rooms going and have a good time building and sharing our creations!

When: Start building now thru Tuesday, April 14th. Rooms will be videotaped/photographed between now and Friday, April 17th.

What a great idea Wendy!!!!

However, I am warning all. I have been having major problems with building. I had both Enigma and Vintage come to my rooms yesterday since after building the entire wall.... it disappeared! Vintage says there is a new book coming :ScarlettPixie and the case of the missing wall.

Flame saw me rebuild a room, three or four times... it kept falling apart.

So, after his great advice, to refresh every so often. I would also keep refreshing alot as you work on the rooms. And make sure nothing collapses.

Ok I am in only if you promise to do a christmas video next december. See I built all these great rooms. We did halloween and now rainbow but we missed christmas

I wanted to do a Christmas video so badly! I had big ideas to have us all link rooms with teleporters to create a Christmas Village, then I got sick. Once I was feeling anything like being even online, Christmas was well over.

If people have Christmas items and still want to do some building or have rooms already built, I see no reason why we couldn't create a Christmas Village and have a "Christmas in July" video! If people are interested, I am still game!

So glad to see everyone ready to have some building fun and thanks for the tips Pix!

Woot, this is great - the list keeps growing! In case anyone is wondering, PrinceBlueYoshi and PrincessRedYoshi are our children.

They love to room build and I document as an art project for homeschool.

Also, since people seem to like the idea of a "Christmas in July" theme, maybe we will give it a go this summer.

wdwdreamin is right, Real! It doesn't have to be a ride. It doesn't have to be fancy either.

If you are short on credits, I could always trade you a few tiaras. They sell for 1500 credits, so that may help you get some building supplies! Just let me know!

This is all about having fun with building and seeing all of the unique rooms - no pressure to build the Taj Mahal.

Hugs Everyone! I will probably not be gettng pics/video of rooms for a little bit yet. I'm finishing a little test video of the March ride events to get used to some new things I am using to make videos. We also have a busy week up until Easter here. However, if I can get this other video done and the kinks worked out by the wekend, I can start looking at any finished rooms sooner! Woot and have fun building everyone!

Hello to all of the Rainbow Room builders! I am now ready to come around and get pics of everyone's rooms for the video.

Astro had a great idea for anyone who is a member. If you are a member you can set your room "furniture permissions" to add me for your room for the video. Then I can stop in anytime and get the pics I need without having to meet up in game. This could open up more time for me to visit the other rooms also. Just send me a pm when I am added to the room and I will send you a pm once I have the pics/video footage.

Everyone else, just pm me when a good time to meet up would be. We actually have pretty open days now through the weekend. (We will be cleaning and getting ready for King's parents who are coming into town next week.

)

I will send out a pm to everyone with this information and hopefully I can collect what I need by the weekend and get this puppy put together!

I am sooooo excited to see everyone's creations!

I am rushing around finishing the rooms; and then I realized you didn't mean the Ride Contest Rooms.

Anyway, I have one of those rooms or 2 if I hurry.

Edit: Using my log in room instead; decided to "hide" those ride rooms from kids before the contest

OK, so we have had a few things come up over the weekend and have been running around in real life. So, I will still be taping rooms for the next couple of days. I am sorry if anyone was looking for me tonight (Sunday) but we were unexpectedly out all day and evening. If we haven't met up yet, just send me a pm and we can find a time to meet. Hugs everyone!

P.S. - The rooms I have seen so far are soooo great! Everyone's rooms are so unique and creative - Woot!
