You know, I did send my request to VFK about the pot-of-gold.  I asked them to just consider putting this as a prize of some sort (even if it is past St. Patrick's Day) -- asking for tonight, if not another event soon.  I let them know this was only a prize for 1 single event, that wasn't even announced.  Many of us missed it.  Even if we picked the wrong teleporter, at least it wouldn't be a regret in at least trying.  I said it was such a great piece of furnish, that there could be so many uses for it in the creative players rooms, even past the holiday it was meant for.

So I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you too Golden.

It says we can wear our miner helmets,  wondering if it will be a ride teleporter event and there will be a preview of mine car ride pieces? Just a thought...

I have no pics yet but the ride is awesome. It is a mine ride. The pieces look so cool. And wonderful looking teleporters! Me thinks I am building a mine room first!!!!

Sigh, I got booted out. Lag was so slow I couldn't move, things finally began to load and I find myself back in my room. They boot way to fast. Now line is over 600, there isn't time to get back in and try again.

Those mine ride rooms were FANTASTIC!!!  Now I wish I didn't buy so many river ride pieces!

Also, I had a very nice experience with VFK's staff this afternoon.  I snuck on to VFK just a little before 4 pm.  I was number 48 in line for Host Fin's room but I after I was switched to the load screen, nothing happened, even after 2 minutes.  Finally, I did a refresh and quickly got back in line, but now over 580 people in front of me!  I decided to take a chance with the Help button and politely described to VFK what happened.  I honestly didn't think anything would happen.  Imagine my surprise when a little later, a message popped up on my screen that I was being sent into the Host Teleporter Game.  I thought, gee, how did they get all the people in front of me through so quickly?  After finishing the ride, I found I was still in line.  Yes, VFK came through to help me with the earlier problem.    I quickly sent them another note to thank them!

The prize was a turn piece (I think right) for the mine ride.

Woot Disco! King had a similar problem tonight also. He entered Fin's room, but could not see himself there. he could talk but not see his character. Fin told him to refresh and she would bring him back in so he didn't have to lose his place in line.  I really like these little personal touches. Very nice! I took some pics of the rooms tonight, so i am off to edit and post! Hope everyone had fun riding tonight, I loved the music, "Working in the Coal Mine"! Harmony said Fin chose the music - very cute and creative choice!

Great! I'm glad that staff was able to able to help you and get you back in! Great customer service.
And Belle, I have no idea if I would have been able to talk or not. I wasn't in there long enough to find out. At first, I actually thought maybe I had made it on the ride but choose the wrong teleporter. I had clicked to get on the ride, but wasn't sure if I was moving or not as everyone including myself was jsut the blue sparkle, and the screen was frozen for a bit. As soon as it unfroze, I was in my room. And then I realized if I was in my room, that was a boot, instead of a "thanks for trying". At least I got a quick look at the first room.

Just a very late update to this -- so sorry, some things have come up at home - and I haven't been around much.

Anyway ... just sharing with you all on the little secret in advance.  Not sure if this is going to officially be posted eventually on the VFK Homepage, or not.      But, I did get this reply it would appear within minutes of me sending my original suggestion on the Pots of Gold - as above.  I just didn't see the response from Staff, until way later.

( Yes, I did cut out a section on both messages -- as it pertained to something else with my account personally and nothing with the game.      But, wanted to update everyone with regards to the official word on the Pots of Gold. )


So, if this doesn't happen -- at least I tried.    But, I won't be upset with VFK either.  I'm certainly at least going to try and be around Sunday and hope this happens, for a Pot of Gold!

I will post this as a "possible" event for Sunday, so nobody here misses it -- IF it truly happens.
