Spring Madness Ride Event Pictures

I got pictures from the ride event tonight. The only color I didn't get pics of was purple - hopefully I can get those on Saturday. I'll post the pictures by color.  :)

Awesome, awesome pics Wendy!  :thumb:    Great job!  Not having ever played Magic, I have been having a hoot of a time trying to wrap my head around the concept of this "ride" thing....

Wow wow wow!   :clapping:   That is about all I can say!  This is just too neat.  I feel the need to actually MAKE one of these things!  Now I know there are some professionals out there who have been waiting for months for this ride stuff to happen....but little ole me is gonna give it whirl.

We managed to get at least one of each color start piece, and a few spares!  I imagine Hero will want to make a ride too....

Anyhow...I was nice that you could get your self in line and keep stepping away to do little things here and there (like actually make and eat dinner) without worrying about being AFK when your turn came up.  I remember us eating in shifts during Host Teleporter games since we had two computers running, and someone needed to keep an eye on whose turn was coming up!

Can't wait till tonight to do it all over again, lol.  I think I am going to hold off on buying, till I see how many pieces I can get tonight.

Aww, thanks for the pictures!  This is the room that made me tear up when I first entered it.  The "dark room" and the ability to ride through just flooded me with that VMK feeling.  For a few seconds, I really thought I was back.  :(

Woot Princess!  You Go Girl!!   :clapping:   Thanks so much for posting the ride pictures!

I will say, I enjoy the way VFK has their queue system set up.  Just awesome!  And the ride event even better.  It doesn't require you to have to "walk" onto the ride at all.  You pop in the room, and the ride just takes you!  With the exception of rooms not loading -- start over was what I did!

I know we are not supposed to be afk for the ride event...but, for those of us that this event isn't at the best possible time -- it's great to still be able to do things at home, while still checking on your avatar and not miss your spot in line.   :thumbs:     

Of course the Host Teleporter Event is different -- you have to "physically walk" and choose a teleporter, so don't ever be afk for an event like that!

Thanks for posting the pics Princess.  Last night I was in line before my meeting; thought I'd have to walk onto the ride so I logged off  :doh: - wishing I had stayed logged in queue now knowing it automatically put us on the ride! So glad they did that, woot to automatic queue lines, immediate ride car and getting stuff done at home!  :thumb:

Thank you for the pictures Wendy! The staff and hosts did a magnificent job on all these rides! Alot of work and alot of time and effort. Bravo to them all for sucessfully pulling it off!
