Here is another chance for us to let Disney know we have not forgotten about VMK and we want it back. Maybe Disney's lawyers need to suggest that Disney just reopen that game and invest their money into a game which can make them money instead of spending it on lawyer's fees.

Hey!  They have D23 coming out.  That should at least satisfy people.  Shouldn't it?  Maybe?   :rofl1:

Rofl is right! GL Disney. Sounds like another loser.

Apparently "WDI" has an eye on them and are waiting for them to release the game before they slap them with a lawsuit. What I fail to understand is how they found out WDI was "spying" on them. To me, it just looks like an excuse for an extended deadline (which is rapidly approaching, May 21st). They can't even meet small deadlines, like forum updates and new "features". Their site is literally built off excuses.

The weird thing about VMKU is that they're asking people for all 8 angle shoots of their characters for a "video". Yes, a "video". I thought their videos were created to prove VMKU legit..? Well, it's not like the videos were anything more than a bunch of images compiled. It's pretty obvious that they're trying to rebuild VMK from scratch or more likely, off GPVMK (which would mean they're violating even more copyright).. Their new "loading bar" was clearly ripped off GPVMK.

They probably didn’t realize that they're going to need a whole lot of character walking images. I guess it’s time for another “video" and maybe a forum contest? The prize of course would be a poorly overlaid VMK badge.

What makes even less sense is their understanding of copyright. They think it's okay to rip off a logo, artwork, a community, 3 years of work and a game but not okay to rip off the names of the lands, rooms..etc and them. Do they really think changing the name will avoid a possible legal hassle with Disney?

Apparently, it's okay as long as the game is dead. Well they got half the truth but they're forgetting the fact that the game has to be dead for 70 years.

I know it's a lot to expect from a bunch of bored teenagers but let's face it; this entire "game" is a load of BS. The owner can't even write a paragraph without mentioning his "girlfriend".  Sorry kids, you're going to need more than that!

I am not sure since when this has been changed http://vmkunleashed.com/

Astro:
I hadn't seen the update to the website, but I had heard it fizzled out.
