I was told you get the Santa hat from Santa in the mansion at Victorian Map. Well I have been in the room with Santa's chair many times to find it empty. Did I miss out. I tried off and on Sunday day and night and again this morning after the opening time.
Just wondering what is up with that.

Here's some info. from Fun in another Santa thread below.  She explains it in good detail, her very last sentence to be specific.  The first part is how to get into single-user mode.  If you're still stuck let us know, and I'm sure we can help you further.

I finally got my main and spare in single player mode....at which point I could enter Santa's room and got santa hats for both.

To go single player mode I followed these instructions from another forum      "The way I do it is to Open an internet browser and log into your account normally. Then open a tab with VFK and log into the same account on that tab. It will then dc your first page and all you have to do is just exit the dc message and you will be in single player mode"    I also kept clicking mouse button under the loading box after second room just in case so I would start walking in the 3rd room of Santa's


I sat on stack of gumdrops first; then clicked on the floor just in front of the leg of chair facing the right side to "sit on invisible lap" - then when I checked my clothes hanger the santa hat was there.

I believe you need to be on the invisible lap so click just in front of the chair by the right chair leg as you are facing it. This should give you the Santa hat

I did what you said Fun, but also sat in the gumdrop chair first before clicking the right chair leg while sitting.  I walked in a circle in front of the chair and then it hops you up on the invisible lap.

I did it for my character earlier but now It is not working for my family.  Aww . And the room is not open regular either.  Guess they read the post.

Aww boo.he Panda -- you can have my hat! You know I probably won't wear it. I already got one for Monkey.

This is still working.  Since you are changing characters clearing cache or closing the windows and reopening may be necessary.

I just tried it for spare, and could not enter Santa's room....I did hear this might only work (even in single mode) when they actually have Santa on VFK at the same time.  Try the single mode again if you can when they have Santa on too.

Fun, I too have found that sometimes this will work for me only if Santa is on VFK. Then the single user can work to get in to his chair. Are the hats still not tradeable? Just wondering if anything had changed since yesterday. I haven't been able to get on today yet to check. Sounds like things have been busy!

Thanks Days, I do not really need any more hats as the boys do not play at this time.  But thanks a bunch.

What is the title of the Santa room when he is there. I have not seen a room on the popular list to know?

OK, but on a more "on topic" note... Panda, you might want to take a look at the Santa thread in the New Items and Events sections. There are more specifics there on how it seems to work. Santa is in the house on the Victorian map. (It used to be the Haunted House) He is in the third room there - when he is on 'duty'. 

So, I guess he is sitting on his "throne" while "on duty", right?  (OK enough with the potty humor for now - sorry, couldn't help myself)
