Halloween Town 2008 is here!

It is time to put on your creative caps and build a fun or spooky Halloween room! A special thanks to UltraCoolMouse for this fun idea and great room description. We now have a Halloween Town Hub. The room is called "Welcome to Halloween Town!" and it already has three teleporters leading to Halloween themed rooms on VFK!

Here's how it works:

1. Put together a fun or scary Halloween themed room.
2. Let me know that you would like to have your room attached to the Halloween Town teleporter hub room
3. I will give you an invisible (glass) teleporter and place the other in the hub room.
4. Somewhere in your room description simply mention Halloween Town so visitors will know you are a part of the teleporter network.

***I will be providing all teleporters free of charge to connect to the Halloween Town hub.

***Also, if you have an idea, but don't have the credits to make it happen, simply send me a pm. King and I would love to supply you with any items needed to make that room a reality!

I am getting so excited to see everyone hopping on board! I just officially added Krazy Kim's room to Halloween Town and know there are 3-4 more people finishing up rooms! Keep them coming - Hooray! I will keep updating the picture here as more rooms are added.

Everyone's rooms look great! I hope to be on tonight later to have the room open.

SweetAsaDaisy's Scary Witch room is now added to Halloween Town! I still have to meet up with a few people to get teleporters in place. This is getting very exciting! I should be on tomorrow afternoon for a bit and then tomorrow evening. If you have a room to add, find me or message me here and we will make it so! Happy Halloween!

Hugs everyone, we are back from our little trip and spent some of today working on our family service project. We are making adaptive books for the special needs school where my mom works. We take book pages, and add things for the children to touch on the pictures. (ie. fur for a dog) I am hoping to catch up with anyone who wants to add a room tomorrow and I will try to have the hub room open each day. Also, if anyone with a connected room is in game, your guests can access all of Halloween Town. I hope to post pics in the next few days of everyone's rooms - they are all so great!

If anyone comes up with a room anytime between now and Halloween, please let me know. We will add as many teleporters as needed! Woot!

ok my room is done. Boy I sure miss VMK. Took forever to stack my house rofl. hard to believe it took 4 hours to build what i built. But it is cute. I call it my fun halloween house of mirrors. I can be on tonight @10.00 eastern standard time.

Hugs to everyone! We added 5 more rooms to Halloween Town tonight! It was great! I got a quick chance to peek at each room and they are all so great! I am hoping to hop on later when I can catch the game in single user mode right after close to get things arranged and get pics. I hope to have those posted here tomorrow. Also, I am going to try to get a video of all of the rooms since I can do that on VFK Buddy. That may take me a bit longer as I'm sure my kids will have to show me what to do.

Hopefully I can get it on YouTube and link to it here. I am making no promises, but with the help of our son, I may be able to get it done!

Well I am still tweaking my room so it is different from last night LOL. I must say they teleporter room must have taken forever to build or you have a secret building technique. I think it is an awesome room.

Hehe belle, my secret is pulling my hair out while stacking.

Actually, after much stacking, it has become easier for me. Also, if you cannot get something right next to each other, sometimes clicking the down arrow while moving an object will give you more places to place said object. For example, if you can't get a crate to place right next to the other, use the down arrow while moving the item and it should work. It is hard to explain, I couldn't even explain it to King while showing him what I was doing.

Just know to work with the down arrow if needed. Also, those spooky forest rooms are really difficult to build in - objects seem to jump out of position. the same happens in the Hollow Log room also.

I am hoping to get some video done soon of all of the Halloween Town rooms so far. If anyone else creates something, just let me know and we will add another teleporter.

It is Saturday, October 25th, about 8:50pm EST. Just wanted to let everyone know I will have Halloween Town open off and on throughout the evening. Stop in to say Hi and see all of the great rooms. FYI: King may be on as my character from time to time while I do some mazes and other things here, so if you see PrincessWendyBird pass gas, you know it is not me!

Sorry all, but I guess I need to wait for Princess to post pics or video.

I just tried to get in and check out the rooms, but the lag was just too much.. especially when I entered a porter and saw the 'front yard' room someone had decorated.. at least I think they had. There were no decorations, no porter, and.. no me! I waited five full minutes and it (nor me) ever loaded.. yet I was able to click room info and it showed the info from Princess' Halloween Town room! So that never loaded either.

The two or three rooms I got to see were wonderful, but did not show me whose room they were. The room info said no information

At least the "Cross If You Dare" tape that King was "behind" gave warning of his gas attacks

Woot! I was able to get on tonight and get my room added before the lag was to much for my browser to handle.

Sorry Princess I kinda disappeared in the hub room. It crashed on me and I'm not sure I want to brave the lag again tonight!

Yep, the lag monster was out in full force tonight. I kept getting sent into single user mode also. But we have added more teleporters to the room! I am closing down for the night tonight, but hope to be on tomorrow evening for a bit. Hopefully time will allow. The great thing is, if anyone is in their room at anytime, people can go from your room to the hub and other rooms! Woot!

Yes, the game is very laggy tonight. Kind of hard to navigate, I might have missed a room or two along the way myself.

I was wondering why I didn't see u PD. I came to say hi and couldn't find you.

I think they were working on VFK tonight cause I had the same problem all night. Also my TV was messed up showing the same show over and over again, but at different parts of the story. Also had single use mode going on too.

Then to top it all off I had to fight with the cable company cause the power went out and when it came back on I still had no internet connection and they tried blaming everything on me. Needless to say I got back up and running when I called someone else for help, but lag was murder on me.

Hugs to you purpleduck and to everyone who had those lag issues tonight. I agree with you Krazy, they were working on things behind the scenes I think. I kept ending up in single user mode or my character would just disappear. I am working on a video of all of the rooms, but until then, I will try to get pics posted of all of the rooms. Hopefully in the next day or so. Happy Sunday everyone!
