When you're at the spider task and the spider begins to swing, you have to click in the middle of the first colorful wheel so the spider can make the stitch there. I don't remember for sure, but I don't think there are colorful wheels on the other holes -- just click on the next holes when the spider is right over it so it can make the stitch there as well. :)

Thanks Days, I saw a colorful wheel but I guess I clicked it at the wrong time. I will keep trying. :)

It took me forever to figure this one out.  I tried clicking everywhere!  Finally figured it out--You have to click the spider right as it goes over the wheel/hole.  For each stitch you'll get a rating of Good, Great or Awesome.  I usually get Greats, with a few Goods and even some Awesomes from time to time.

Yes, its all a matter of timing. I first started clicking as soon as i saw the target holes. Then I realized that the spider had to be directly over the target when I clicked. :) Happy stitiching!

I'm so glad someone asked this question because I was just getting ready to ask.  I have had no clue on how to do this so I'm glad to see you all have figured it out.  Look forward to trying it later.

On the holes where the circle is not there you can wait a few more swings the spider will stay on that hole and the circle will appear. I been doing this and even waiting until the third or forth wing to get there.

I had some trouble to get the tailoring to count for the badge. I have played and checked and it not counted.
Here is what I know.
That each time you play a round of games that counts for the goal of the three tailoring badges.
For some reason one of the tailoring places in the spring area is not counting for my badge right now.
I then switched to the fall area tailor place and it started counting there.
I am pretty sure it counted the tailoring I did before in the spring area for the other badges.

Has anyone noticed a counting pattern for earning the 100 tailor badge?
Or if we have to switch at a certain number?

Hmmm, not sure about the 100, but my 25 badge seems to be stuck at 19, although I've made so many more outfits to try and advance.

OT: Is that an Eski I see as your avatar?  We have an Eski mix! Love those dogs. :)

Well there got to be a pattern then.
I would switch to the other tailor spot Amberdaze if the one your using is not working and check again.
I had that happen to me I played several games and it didn't count any but when i switched tailor shops it count those. Who knows maybe it wants us to have even amount in both tailor spots?

OT: Yes he is an Eskie. That is our first dog ever he's about a year and a half now and should be full grown... tad bigger than I wanted. We named him Cotton since we live in the south and live near a cotton field. And he looked like a ball of cotton as a puppy. He the best dog. He only barks if he wants out or if there is someone there. He wouldn't fight them off or anything he would lick them to death tho.

Hmm, I'll have to try that.

Heh, not ours -- she's a bit taller than a full Eskie, but when her fur isn't trimmed you can really tell she's part Eskie (though she doesn't have the black nose and dark eyes...she has a pink spotted nose). She's very smart and rings a bell when she needs to go outside.  :lolg: She barks at every stranger though (the mailman and meter reader know to not go near the window lol). She also doesn't like other dogs.

Charstar, see that "OT" you used to start your comments about your dog?  In noBS, we consider any thread, not worth its weight of chat.. if there isn't at least one off topic discussion!  :lolg:  It IS the noBS way.. and it is nice to see you joining right in!

So, no need for the "OT".. just go for it, and enjoy the chat!  Nobody here will mind, unliike other forums :thumb:

Hehe - Now miss RosieCotton, why would you be partial to that name..hmmm?  :lolg: Charstar, that is one cute little pup.

Also, about the badges, our daughter's Spring meadow badge still has not registered that she has visited all 5 meadows. She has visited them all many times. I even went on as her to make sure and still no badge. I sent a note to them from the "Report the Problem" button. I will let you know if they fix it for her. Maybe these are the type of things they need us to report during the Beta test? Just a thought.

I too have noticed the same problem since I first got on.  Mine constantly sits at having visitied three of the five spring meadows.. but never gave it a thought that it was a bug.. guess I was just blinded from seeing the problem with all this eww, pee.ink color around here!  :rofl1:

about the OT I was just coping Amberdaze...

Thanks, Cotton is a great name. Most of our family calls him cottonball fluffyness and sing songs to him with his name... go figure :notme:

Well I was able to get past the thirties and got stopped at 40 switched tailor shops again but that didn't work . after that I just signed off and got a coupon hunt online and went to research that . OMG  did you know there are so many little samples you can sign up for . (Which I did) and our family is getting ready to save some $ come grocery day.

Speaking of saving $$...I just watched the Oprah show with the thrifty family and decided I needed to make some big changes in my grocery shopping. I couldn't believe how much $ that woman saved by only shopping with coupons and buying only sale items!  *gasp*

We saw that Oprah show too. My husbands even excited. I have now made a coupon binder now and and going to start back getting the sunday paper again so I have coupons to put in it. I been off the computer all day my kids and everyone else has been using it.

I still on 40/100 for the last tailoring badge trying to figure out what to do to get past that point.

Has your daughter gotten her badge yet?  Just wondering because I was also having this problem.  For some reason it was only showing that I visited 4 meadows. This went on for several days and I know I had visited all the meadows many many times.  Then all of a sudden the other day as I was playing and visiting meadows, it finally registered and up popped my badge.  Not sure what that was all about but I now finally have that badge.

That is fantastic news Aurora!!  I am still sitting at three meadows, despite having been in them all long enough to have 40 badges now, including all the Flitterific ones for collecting 500 of flowers, leaves and berries.  That alone proves I have been in all the meadows.. yet mine still sits as it did on day one.. at just 3 meadows having been visited.   At least maybe there is hope it will register someday!   Congrats on the badge!

Agreed!  I am working on one that needs 3,000 points.  I figure it will take me 33 times at it to get there, because I just never get the "awesome" with the spider.  So I range between 87 - 96 points each time.  gf

Well, you may just want to do that.. wait for them to fall apart.  I just finished the 3,000 one, and one of the new patterns for me to work on is #10 Moonbeam Belt.. ready for this?  9,000!  NINE FREE.KING THOUSAND!  That works out to.. assuming you can keep up your strength.. 100 visits with the spider!  Even then, that is presuming we can still keep up with an almost non-existant paddle, supersonic speed needed with the cutting worm, and I would guess A LOT of pieces to puzzle together!   :heat:  I'm tired just thinking of it! :lolg:

Agreed!  I am working on one that needs 3,000 points.  I figure it will take me 33 times at it to get there, because I just never get the "awesome" with the spider.  So I range between 87 - 96 points each time.  gf

Well, I did that one and it did take me 33 times my range is same as yours.  Just wait till you get on #27. It requires 3,700 points and the spider is so fast I cannot make the first two holes!!    I HATE the Spider !
My little Pandora can just wear the clothes she has till they fall apart!
Hugs

:lolg:

Yikes!  I don't know whether to say Congratulations to you two, or I'm Sorry!?   :lolg:   But Congratulations for sure!   It sounds like that part of the game is very difficult.  I'm afraid, as I don't spend much time there yet.  :ahh:

That spider IS EVIL  >:D I tell ya! Pandora you will not be alone, I too will be wearing my outfit til it falls apart.

I also reported the missing meadow visit badge, I visited all 5 meadows many times but only 4 keep showing up.

I also reported petal game (I never ever see any petals to circle - nada, zilch!) and have not seen it fixed or received a reply yet.

I've been working on a 5,000 point one...I play it a few times then go to something else. I figure some day it will be done.  :lolg:

Same here Days.  When I go in, I do one of each color, then move on.  I did finally finish my 3,000 one, and sad to say it did show that I was correct, it took me 33 times of making it to earn the card.  It was kind of depressing to actually "see" just how many I had to do!  Better to have just guessed, for me anyway.  :td:

I have found out that only the blue backgrounds (Featured Items) count for the tailoring badge.. After switching to a blue background items my count has moved to 43/100 so ... play on and finish your blues first then work on others to I guess unlock more blues?

I just finished two.. I try to work on one in each of the tailor shops.  I started in Bobbin's and ran my usual "one of each color" for the item.. none of them counted for the badge??

I went to Mendy's and only had to make the item 3 times to finish.. those DID count towards the badge.

I went back to Bobbin's and made the item 3 times to finish it.. those did NOT count for the badge.

Bottom line is, it is not color (Charstar) that triggers the count.  I have had it, on some days, count every item I made regardless of which color or place.  But, obviously, today is buggy (or were the "count 'em all days buggy").  Hopefully it will be fixed.. but it is Beta after all.  :hitwall:

Dear Pixie Hollow player:

Thank you for your recent email. We do try to read each and every email we get from our fellow fairies. Our computers scanned your email and picked up on the words 30 and badge. We are so glad you decided to tell us that you are a 30 year old corrections officer with a badge.

This information tells us that you can afford the new "Clickables" now available at your nearest store. That way you can get the new badges to match the badge you already have.

Thank you for your kind input. We always love to hear from our fairy friends.

Very truly and sincerely law abidingly yours,

OMG!  My roly-poly has had way too much caffeine today!  He is now way faster than before.  Ink runs out faster too.  I almost never ran out of ink--now I do every time before my piece is completely covered.

I noticed that, the past couple of days.  I too normally had plenty of ink left, but it runs out much faster than it used to.   ( that the ink isn't disappearing even faster, since the changeover last night)

LOL!  I noticed this too.  But... I actually am glad they gave roly-poly a little caffeine.      Sometimes it would take forever for the ink to run out, or he kept bouncing around even though my piece was totally colored.  And, I wanted to fall asleep waiting for my piece to be done.   Hmmmm... maybe a thought though for us insomniacs.   :hmmmm:

I do think little roly-poly could cut back on some of the caffeine though.   :lolg:   A little is good, he's had way too much!
