Many of us have been having a difficult time making it to the closing bell on VFK recently.

With school schedules kicking in (for parents too) and just simply folks needing more sleep, closing at 1am Eastern has been tough for many friends.

OK, so here is how this will work. We will all start to meet in a designated location between 10:00-10:30 EST/ 7:00-7:30 PST At 10:30 EST/ 7:30 PST We will say "Good Night" and get a few pictures. Then those who need to head off to sleep can do that. We can decide on the location for the next evening when we are together and I will update this post each night.

Next Early Closing: Sunday, November 9, 2008
Where: PrincessWendyBird's Center Stage Room
When: 10:00 - 10:30pm EST, 7:00 - 7:30pm PST

Well, we had a first early closing in the U.S. Marsall's Office tonight! So much fun that I think we will do it again! Keep a lookout to the first post for information!

Purpleduck was flapping her feathers pretty darn fast as King tried to use his gas magic.

Well, we got our goodnights in and then just stood there for a bit - I think we are just used to being kicked out!

But King just "lit" the place up and cleared the entire room for us.

Oh, and Panda, we now know you remembered why you set your alarm! Hugs and Sleep Well Everyone!

We had a great turnout tonight at our Early Closing / VFK 100 Day Celebration! Hugs to wonderful friends! We had a full room with ice cream, cookies, and blue Kool-Aid! Purpleduck even encouraged King's gas for this one night!

Hugs and Good Night Dear Friends! We ended up closing tonight in purpleduck's very purple attic. She had a great teleporter trick all set up and it was so much fun! She had stacked items, including the teleporter and a barrel chair. When you entered through the teleporter, it looked as though you were sitting in the barrel seat!

Woot - very clever duck.he! Here is a pic... ( You can see in this pic that duck.he's boot was working just as good as mine does. And she does it barefoot!

We closed this evening in King's room and had fun stacking chairs and being stylishly dressed!

Well, no exposed bums tonight at closing, but King did have a little incident. (Big surprise

) He went back behind the tree and timber well and we couldn't figure out why. Seems he had to "go" and DreamTulip had the house locked!

We had a fun closing in CursedMonkeyQueen's Enchanted Garden Tea House. This room was really beautiful, so if you haven't seen it yet, you should stop in and visit. Luckily, there were lots of barriers to keep King's gas at bay and we all had fun playing with the skin tones. From Violet in Willie Wonka to having a sunburn to looking like zombies.

Well Hugs to everyone. Many of us gathered in the Grand Hotel area tonight to say good night, but then we had major lag. King and I ended up in single user mode. I wonder if it was King's flying Gas Attack?

Of course, Happy was there, so maybe Happy did it?

Well hugs and good night to everyone! I did get a few pics of us doing the Hokey Pokey. (ha.key poor.key) We couldn't move our arms to "put our right arm in", but Happy reminded us we could "put our whole self in" so that is what we did. I will add pics in a few.

EDIT: Hugs to everyone - I figured we'd stick around a little later for the "questers' in the bunch, but alas, King's gas sent us into Single user Mode.

I had gone afk for a minute came back and we could move around but nobody was talking, so I thought I'd refresh my page.. then I went in to full on single user mode. I didn't even have a friends list for a few minutes!

Hugs Friends. We have missed the past few nights of closing and even playing time on VFK. Our computer issues are looking better, but I have been having dizziness and my headaches are back off and on. Good news is, it seems that my blood pressure is running too low. So, we will try cutting back on my medication for that and hopefully that will help. So, King and I will try to be around tonight so we can see some friends. We sure have missed seeing everyone - and King can't wait to use his new five star gas with friends.

We sure have missed seeing everyone with all of the craziness here this past week. Although, life at our house is always crazy!

Tonight, we had a grill out in Australia while we watched football. (Well King almost burned the burgers and we mostly talked about football, but you get the idea. And, of course, the night would not be complete without King's green gas.

Even King's gas didn't stand a chance, all of those flowers got him stuck up on the ceiling! Well, tonight we closed in the awesome "Sunlit Living" Room. Only problem is, King used my upstairs bathroom, which apparently has no door. He was in there for quite a while...

and needless to say, the whole place began to stink. After many requests to "turn on the fan" or "light a match", the smell finally went away, but not before driving Funfly outside for fresh air!

It was great to see everyone and we missed those who couldn't make it on tonight. Hugs and Sleep Well Everyone.

Oh my, Oh my...

Well after a week or so without any early closings, we made up for it tonight. Hugs to everyone we got to see and to friends we miss seeing.

I feel the only real way to describe this evening is through the pictures I took before we even began to say goodnight. I will summarize first: "Don't jump Panda", "Few Fresh Air", "Panic at the opera house", "I'm drawing on Snow", and "baby got back". Now you really want to read on, don't you?

As we are all gathering in the Sydney apartment, Panda appears on the balcony. No, not on the balcony - over the balcony. So, of course, we all scream for her not to jump. She then dissapears as King tones fine won won.

Apparently Panda could not see the room, so had no idea she was about to jump to her doom!

Next Snow goes afk (big surprise we all teased), so of course I drew on her.

Then King begins to stink up the place so we all run to the balcony, except poor afk Snow...

Just as Snow.he escapes to the safety of the fresh air on the balcony, King joins us. His gas drifts down to the opera house causing a stampede of patrons fleeing the horific smell!

As Queen joined us I made a comment about her riding pants and well...

Finally, we were able to say goodnight after so much laughing I think I just added 5 years to my life!

Hugs again to all of our friends! I am hoping to have a little Autumn room open for an early closing party tomorrow. Hope to see you all there.

Hehe, it was nice to see some friends tonight. Hope everyone who we didn't get a chance to see is doing great this Sunday evening. So, it was an early closing in what I tried to make into a pumpkin patch and Autumn garden -hehe. It was filled with wolves for a bit, then Happy the "hyper" fairy fanning the gas fumes of Ant and King away.

Street stopped in and even land - she hijacked the keyboard from Street for a bit.

DreamTulip and I were just trying to survive the gas coming our way.

I wanted to post that our next closing will be on Sunday, October 12th. We tried to get on for tonight's close, but our local internet provider was having network problems. After over an hour of trying this and that, we are finally back online. Hope to see everyone Sunday!

Hugs and Night Everyone! There were just a few of us around tonight, even King and I were late. We did manage to get in some good nights before a message popped up that they were doing a reset on a few servers. Then we got dc'd twice, so took it as a hint to be done for the evening.

Well, King got to try out his stinky mummy gas on Dream, Street, and myself.

Then hdmonkeybug entered and King was all philosophical about her title. Yep, he was on a roll tonight until he got stuck on the ceiling.

Serves him and his gas right! Ah, well hugs to all of our friends - Have a Fantastic Week!

Alright, how did King get his hands (well maybe not his hands exactly) on some stinky MUMMY gas??

Is there a leak somewhere? I will have to check into this. Maybe this Mummy can collect some royalties from all this escaping Mummy gas.

Is King Mummygas stronger than regular King gas?

Happy Halloween Hugs to everyone! It was sooo great to see everyone tonight. Hugs to everyone we missed. We closed this evening in the Halloween Town hub room! I tried to bottle King's gas mummy and fun, but no such luck - all of that mummy wrap in the way!

Well, as we said our good nights, I accidentally hit the wrong button on gadget.

So, unless "avast, weigh anchor" is a new good night phrase - oops.

Hugs everyone! I just wanted to let everyone know that King and I will be out of town tomorrow until Tuesday. We will ahve our laptops with us, but I can't promise closings. So, I will put early closings on TBA until we get back and set up a few Halloween closings! Have a great weekend everyone!

OK Everyone! It has been entirely too long since we met up for an early close. So, how about tomorrow night - Friday, Nov. 7th in my Center Stage Room? There is a nice balcony for a fresh air escape from King's umm gaseous state.
