Just watched Michael Phelps pull in that incredible 8th gold!  Fantastic race! :yes!:

More incredible though, I thought, was to see the determination of his teammates.  Not only for themselves to acquire a gold.. but to go to the utmost in striving to help Michael win.

Doesn't even matter to me, what country he was from.. to see that drive and determination, and on his teammates, would have had me cheering for them regardless.

And ... Michael Phelps   :bow2:   What more can be said.  The guy is just amazing, what a machine!

His Mom is so fun to watch in the stands too ~ she is one proud Momma for sure.   :)

I saw it too! What a great Olympic moment!

He sure looks exhausted though! I bet he'll sleep for a month and then eat everything in sight when he wakes up.   :lolg:
