Right now there are a few rooms open where staff are testing wing magic.  It is SO pretty and detailed.  The girl version is like a pink fairy with a pretty dress and wings that flutter.  You also fly with them.  There will be a boy version as well and they mentioned it will be out this weekend. IDK if it is through a quest or for sale.

Again nice work on something we did not know was coming.  It will be no dress and a different color for boys - green  and it is an enchantment but works with other enchantments. They say they are thinking about other colors as well and are not showing the pin till this weekend.

A while back I had posted on KnoBS that during an after hours session a VFK staff person was talking with many of us in the room about wings (of various types) and wing magic.  It was also mentioned at that time that the wing magic would allow us to get places faster.  I have been hoping to see it soon.  Nice to see these appearing in game.

ETA: On the map at the moment with VFK_Bondi and many others.  She is showing the fairy magic.  If anyone wants screens I can post a few but here's some highlights:
- Should be available this weekend
- Watch the homepage for details on whether quest, buyable, etc....
- It is a magic pin, but VFK_Bondi was not wearing one while showing it

VFK_Bondi's magic lasted FOREVER.  Literally never went off.  I asked her if that was a staff version or if ours would do the same.  She said she was not sure.

It moves us REALLY fast!  Fun!

This enchantment looks so beautiful! I am soooo excited about this!!  I am wondering since there is also talk of unicorns, if they will tie these type of items to medieval times. Those were days of legends - King Arthur, The Lady of the Lake, etc. Just a thought from here. Or maybe these items would fit in with the Retro Age and the 60's - Whoa dude, look at all the colors.

Although I am very impressed....I would have preferred something a little more "masculine" for the boys.    I am sure there are boy fairies....just none that I ever recall seeing.    Maybe putting eagle wings on the guys or something would have been a little better.   

Either way I am sure I will be fluttering around myself in these, just would have hoped for something else.

Although pink and purple are not my favorite colors (it's sometimes blue, sometimes red, sometimes any other color lol), I do like Pink Floyd, the Pink Panther, and I even have a hot pink stripe on my Reebok flips. Yeah, I'm in de nile (sorry, just had a WDW Jungle Cruise moment). 

But hmmm.. I also like Deep Purple, Harold and the Purple Crayon, pink nail polish (when I do wear polish), and I have a purple scrunchie.

Ok, I just got to say - It is Saturday 1:30 pm est.  I don't even care for the fairy magic for myself.  I think they did very good work on it as well as the horse we still do not have but I swear if it does not come out today as staff said.....

Many guessed ElfIsland would open today.. you had suggested the fairy magic might be to help hold players instead of them jumping to Elf. 

All I'm saying, is this may yet be just another one of their "jumping to make what people want" rather than  sticking with their plans.  There was a threat, ElfIsland.. so they responded.  But as it is not open yet.. they can go back to business as usual?  idk.. but sounds that way to me.  Let's see.. what would business as usual be.. oh yeah, wasn't that finishing the sitting issue and some other stuff.. then the horses.. then, then, then...  until the next bump (fairies on ElfIsland being a bump) comes along and they try to beat something else. 

Can anyone say "VFK, just do your own thing and stop worrying about anything but your own original directives, so you CAN get some of this long promised stuff out to us?"

Oh my! I just had to post here! King and I finally got a peek at the fairy magic today!  Pictures do it absolutely no justice - and we were on the map, so it was even very small. We were working on the quest and VFK_Legend came fluttering across the map. Now, King is certainly not a man to embrace being a "fairy", but he went crazy when he saw it. He described it really well - like watching a hummingbird flutter around. I think she was using the map to show people as they were questing.

She even raced King and his green gas across the map - she kicked his little green behind!  As more people arrived on the map, she led a game of red light, green light across the map. I have to say I was not only really impressed with the magic, but watching Legend really have some fun with players.  Well, off to finish my quest - hehe.

I too saw the magic on the map today as I was doing my oh so wonderful quest for Monkey and me. OK I'll admit it...it's kinda cute.
