Rejected Olympics
« on: July 24, 2008, 02:41 PM »

Barton has taken the lead from Durem at the moment with an average score 6.64

If you have not joined it is not to late - you can go back and do the missed days games (we are on day 4)   Also, if you think you can do better you can keep playing to better your score, it counts your high score.

Well, we're tied again at 6.67, although it says Durem is in the lead.

I agree replaying can boost your average.

So, what is you favorite Rejected Olympic Game?
So far my favorite is Vacuuming the Dust Bunnies.  I thought they were so cute.  I laugh too much playing this game and didn't get a good score.

OK, so I needed a lesson planning break today and hopped on to join the Olympics. Seems like Barton was the team most of you are on - so I joined Barton!  :wavet: I am averaging 7.7-8.7 which I guess is OK. Any hints on the washing items type games?

I love the number order games - but I have to say those dust bunnies are toooo cute. The washing of Liam I could do without.  :rofl1:

Okay for most of the games I have no clue what I am doing.  I'm not sure if I need to click my mouse and move or just move.  So I'm a clicking maniac for now.  :laugh2:

seems sometimes you have to click and sometimes not, depends on the game.   I bought an extra flag at the market - but they should be one of your first or second day prizes.  You can win two prizes each day, if you did, check your inventory you may have it - I some how missed it when I got mine, then add it to your avatar from inventory like anything else.

Everyday you can win two different prizes (one for playing all the rounds and a different one if you average 7.5 (I believe) or higher.  You can go back and replay the previous days if you have not received all the prizes yet.
The flag was one of the 1st or 2nd day prize (it is one thing with all the town's flags).
My favorite games are the one's where you do NOT do the thing and just keep still for a few seconds to get 10 points, the counting up and down in order ones, and the find the object ones.  I don't like the washing ones (LOL wash Liam!) or the vacuum, I also dislike the inflate and push up ones and well any where you have to click a lot.
I know this post may be confusing but well so is Gaia  :P

Thanks Guys! I found the flag and am wearing it with pride. Durem is ahead again.  :madder: Maybe it is time to take a minion on to join Durem and be terrible at the games.  >:D  :rofl1:

Yep, You should get the flag on the first day -- if you haven't played the previous days, you can go back and keep playing (great way to increase your average...and it helps the team :) ).  EDIT: I left my reply window open while I watched a movie, and when I went to click I noticed you got your flag -- WOOT!!

You can pretty much tell if you need to click, if you move the mouse and nothing happens. With yesterday's games, I started moving the mouse and noticed nothing happening, so I began clicking. With the games where you have to slash the balloons with lightning, I clicked and dragged from left to right mostly, to get the most amount of balloons at once.

I was so happy to not see any inflating games or keyboard pounding games -- I dislike those.

Well, I even got King to hop on and play a few games. he is now sporting a Barton flag too!  :wavet: I agree with you guys about those inflate the balloon type of games!  :td: These games are actually kind of fun - not like that impossible dance game from the Prom! :dle:

Todays games are signifigantly more difficult and took a few tries.  One issue is there are two easy games that seem to be giving a 2.0 no matter how well you do.  I am going to try back later in case this is later corrected but after a whil I got my score around 8.2 for day 8

A hint on gettign the numbers in order watch the screen carefully at the start.  The lowest number is the first to apear so this may help you find it quicker.

I just played 1 round of 10 for today's games -- I love the games that I played so far -- includes matching images and connect the dots...woot! Also, with the 'click the numbers in order' games, the first one does appear first, and the second next, and so on. What I do is click everywhere I look next, just in case it's the next one.  :lolg:

So far one prize is adorning fans (hehe).

Off to sleep -- just wanted to post that real quick. Have fun with today's games!  :wavet:

Help!!  :sos:

I was doing good with my games until I came across "Chop the Watermelon".  It said to use the spacebar and man was I pounding on that darn spacebar!  And NOTHING.  No movement or anything.  ???  I have no clue what to do, has anyone had this game to day?

I know I just went on and on hope it is understandable. :)

Turns out that this game isn't working for some. I would keep trying -- hopefully it'll be fixed for you soon.
