Happy:
Dreams and Princess thanks for posting a photos.  I have not seen one of the horses.

I did not catch a picture of the horse off the map last night.  It went by me too fast.  Thanks for posting Princess.  Yes, the horse is smaller when on the map, just like we are.

Seems that once the horse broke free last night, it ran away any time any of us got near us.  The homepage this morning seems to explain how the programming of the horses is set up.  It was really quite funny last night as we all tried to catch the horse!

You're welcome.  It was about 3am last night (this morning?) that he was out and about.  Sorry, you say, "sleep"?  What is that word?     :hmmm:  8)

Adventuredaz:
A Note From The Developers

Well, one of our horses made an unexpected debut this morning. We were testing part of the AI for the horse, and VFK_MIntie’s horse got to a jump point in the paddock which led to the map. After that, the horse did what it was supposed to do, which was avoid people by either going to another jump point, or in the worst case if cornered it would teleport back to its home paddock.

Once back in its paddock, it would head to the jump point again, and we would be off chasing the horse once more.

Short of shutting down the server we were not sure how to corral it.

Finally, several developers blocked the jump point in the paddock, and the horse decided to stay!

We did have a lot of help from everyone up late trying to corral our wayward horse,

It was an exciting test, and we learned something about interacting with our new horse.

While this does sound cute and funny.. at the same time, it's sad.  VFK appears to not really have any clue until they have "loosed" things on us players.  They really should have a staff of testers, and it is done out of sight of players as much as possible.

The fact that they were not prepared to deal with the horse, and worse, their "sharing the story" with us.. admitting "we learned something about interacting with our new horse".. only shows how unprepared they really are, to meet any of their deadlines long ago promised and as yet unfulfilled.

Yes, I am still playing.. but the more that time passes, and more and more promises are made and unfulfilled.. they are losing my early on respect.   Don't hire people to tell us your problems and make promises (communications), hire more programmers and testers.  WHEN you have something DONE - THEN tell us.   (Just this one duck's opinion.)

I have only jumped on the last few days to check for animated creatures and new items or rooms and I found neither so went on to other stuff.   Apparently I should have wandered around a bit to try to russle up a horse.  It will be like the wild west, we will have to catch it if we want to ride it. -starts working on a brand mark-

feel free to tag you a horse with this.

Word on the street is there might be a live test with some horses tonight. Don't know if we will be awake - but gather up your branding irons folks...  :rofl1:

Nice work on the graphics there Add.  :thumb:
