one thing that can happen is the person may start over and delete their character then it will drop off. I know two that did this.  Then the reshuffle thing. If people change rooms it has a little lag in updating the list and will make them offline for a moment. If you refresh the list a few times it is possible they will reappear.

I was also under the impression on how the SW Friends List works is this ... Even though I may make someone my friend.  I will not show on this person's list, until they also make me their friend (by clicking on a button within my profile, to add me to their list).  Correct me if I'm wrong here?


I also had lots of problems not being able to go into any shops or public places last night.  The rooms wouldn't load at all.

Yes, you are correct about the friends.  So, since it doesn't matter if you are on each others list.. I should not see a fluctuation of how many friends I have, IMO. (with the exception of what Adventure said)

I had that problem two nights ago.  Ant wanted me to help her with a mission in the ThermaSpa, but it would not load.
