I figured it out why, it's because I had rosetta on (it's something for mac intels, is helps read the shockwave, I forget what it actually does) ... it makes the browser run too slow, and crashes... I played it for only a few minutes, until i had to sign off to figure out a dispute else where xD... no worries everything is fine...

but I am on there I am Patchy Star, and my dog is called Bunga...(don't ask, it was my old dog's nickname, I have no idea how we came up with it, her actual name was Jasmine xD)

I signed up for myself and King tonight. Please note - chat is pretty free and open. Just an FYI, in case your thinking of a game to play with the kiddies as well.

We created characters there, although I don't know how much time we will have to give to another game.

But, just in case, our titles there are:

Princess WendyBird with my puppy Lady
King QuackATac with his dog Porthos

Oh, and I had to laugh...While my VFK avatar has the best posture ever, my avatar on this game seems to be slumped forward a bit. I keep wanting to tell her "shoulders back".

BUT, it says that it is in 'private' mode and that I need to be invited by an existing member.

That's odd because I was able to join last night with no problems.

I couldn't resist the draw of having a dog that will actually follow me around and respond to commands.

My name there is Kat Wilbyte and my dog is Elvis. I'm not too sure about it being open all the time though, not sure I have the willpower to sign off and get some sleep.

I agree Days we will get no sleep ROFL - The program is in its infancy so the population is not out of hand but it is open chat so not probably for the kids as it develops. At the moment it shows more promise then VFK, which could change at any moment. You can have a Cat or Dog - cats being far less obedient. There are some real cool aspects that we wish we had in VMK and some stuff that is similar to Gaia. The game choices might be better but I did not get to explore that too far. Oh, the talk is a little wierd so be prepared.

Helpful tip of the day

:
You can put security features on your house to let only friends in or password protect it but anyone can make you their friend and it is easy to search. This easily = stocker. You may boot a non-friend from your house. But if you find you are being followed you need to select the person and block them individually if you are the stockee

It seems Disney turned us all in to roaming vagabonds and Troubadours.

I joined last night as none other than "happy_guest". I haven't had too much time to look around. DH is thrilled with all these new games.

At least I have a definate message board as home...VMKNoBS.

Yes, what were these spouces thinking. they thought when VMK closed we would getr more sleep and be done with these online things. We are all now cooking in so many pots we may need a bigger stove. LOL It was a lucky thing VMK closed at 1 am EST. I have no way to make my self sleep without an artificial boundry. I might have to come up with my own control meathod.

Status on friends can be non-mutual

so it is important once people find their friends they add each other and change their status if they want them to visit at your space.

You can add friends in two ways. Search for the user by title and select add. Or if you see them click them and select the add friend option. In both cases there is a change member status (or something) right below it. this involves how they will be able to interact with your room and items in the room.

I am currently making all my friends Members. I might in the future give some a higher status, or chose to add aquaintances but not make them members until I know them better.

About Member status...after you've clicked on these friends to make them Members, don't forget to add friends to your Member's page (under space settings --> Members). I like adding all my friends as Members, since it's much easier to see who's online (rather than looking at your friend's list).

Yes, I think it should have it's own board.. it would seem that for being Beta, it has a lot more to offer "initially". I already know we need another thread just to collect peoples titles there, as we have done with VFK, Gaia..

I am willing to mod.. would be nice to have another mod as well

because the only people who have come to my room are strangers...

Well, after one too many run-ins with Victoria Beckham (be very afraid LOL) and except for the freezing up when too many people are in the room (~3), I think this game is pretty cute! I'm Silverstar Fox and I have a kitty named Foxy. Is it just me or are most of you dog people? lol

Thank you for making a board for Small Worlds!!!!! I am finding this game very interesting. I am Bugdozer VMK. I seem to be picking it up pretty good (but I stink at pool

). Thanks to everyone that has added me as a friend. I really think we could make this into a safe "VMK" community of friends if we do what Adventure says with friends. Ink has joined and at the moment I have no problems with him using it but then again he is old enough to really know about being careful about giving out personal information. I can finally say he is my son with no fear of being ban

. I hope as the game progress there is more ways to earn credits as the mission are fine but they are making you buy stuff on the missions not leaving you with enough credits to furnish your home as you please. I will be interested in knowing what they will charge for premium membership. I found you can customize your home and bring a Disney feel to it. I purchased a flickr picture frame made a free flickr account and uploaded vmk screen shots to it. Then you click on your frame click customize and you can add the screen shots to the frame. It then shows the pictures in your room as a slide show. Then I bought the Huge mural picture. That works the same was as the frame except it is about 4 times bigger. I put into that one a couple of my pictures from my recent trip to DLR and it is the coolest thing. bring Disney into my home

This has potential and we could build our community how we want it with it being customizable. Disney will be sorry they lost us- they should have known we would search until we found something we liked and they might not be able to win us back. Adventure you are right- my husband thought with VMK closing he would have me back full time-wrong

I have just found something else to do....

This game is starting to become as addicting as VMK! haha - unfortunately, I can't hold a penny here either, lol, it's enough that I am broke in real life now I'm going and spending all my little poker chips! When will it end?!

I'm Front Suzy the 2nd in the game as well as Front Suzy but for some reason the game wouldn't let me save Front Suzy. I have a little puppy named Shelby - can I just say how adorable these pets are?? If you zoom out and walk across the room and call your pet over, watching them walk is just too cute.

I've already met some cool NoBSers also!
