Woot for our first race!

Congrats to our top three!  Now that I understand how this works, I will have to do a better job of picking drivers for the next race.  I mostly picked drivers whose names I knew, or who I thought was cute, or in the case of Dario Franchitti, simply because Ant doesn't like him.  :lolp:  (and he's cute  :lolg:)

It was fun to look at who everyone had picked.  I think Dale Jr. was the most popular among us all. 

I'm looking forward to seeing if we can move our team up in the ranks!   :thumbs:

Ant, correct me if I'm wrong, but I think anyone who would like to join us can still do so?  We've got a good team going and the more the merrier!

Don't worry Kat, it's all about luck anyway. We knew a lady who bet on the horses and won a lot and she would only bet on gray horses. :lolg:

Pay no attention to Ant, I like Dario too, a Scotsman with an Italian name in an American sport!! :thumbs:

Is Dale Jarret done now?  I thought this race was supposed to be his last, but he was listed as NE on this one.  I'm not sure what that stands for.

NE means not entered, He can continue to race if he wishes and has a team that needs him but for all intended purposes he has retired from racing I think Bristol was his last or his first he sat out.

That was sure a fun race to watch thanks to our new fantatsy league. Yes, anyone can still join and all you have to do is just pm me for the password. The link is in the sticky at the top of this forum.

And as far as Dario goes, well, what can I say? His wife is gorgeous, (Ashley Judd) so obviously he has great taste in women, and as long as he stays out of the way of my drivers, he is ok in my book.  :rofl1: But papaduck has the right idea Kat, never listen to me. I know nothing, rofl.

This was fun and made me forget my vmk ban blues for a while. I can't wait for next week's race. Woot!
