Hi all! I thought that a few of you might have some free time on your hands after May, and just might go looking for a new place to hang out, so I want to share with you, what I think is the easiest way for a newcomer to SL to hit the ground running. The television show CSI:NY did an episode where they had to go into Second Life to track a suspect. In conjunction with this episode was in invitation for the viewers to come into SL and solve crimes on the CSI Sims (areas) they built. For anyone unfamiliar with SL this is a great way to begin, even if you're not a CSI fan. The advantage is that you get in game with a very nice looking avatar and some nice clothes right off the bat. They have great tutorials set up also to help you become familiar with the movement in world. The link to access this is:

I actively use two avatars in world. Tigress Jewell and Velvet Beaumont I've been working as a manager for a huge company in SL, and I also have my own clothing boutique. I'd be happy to do what I can to help anyone if you are really interested in coming in world. I have made a lot of contacts in my time there (over a year) and I think you would be amazed at what you can do there, including work a full or part time (paying) job. Hope this is helpful
EDIT: Thought I should post the system requirements as well, here's the link:
