Shopping Monster Strikes Again

Happy:
I am truly beside myself on this one.  The happy girl is just about ready to cry over a dumb game.We all know the churro cart sob story.  Here goes today's dilema...if you want to hear a rant...I, like everyone, work so very hard to earn credits. Here is my short story...10K gone no shark pin. I am so very careful and slow when I shop after having an issue last fall.

My letter to VMK Shorty at Contact Us...
Shopping Problem:
First, I shop slowly and confirm each message box that pops up in the process. I do know what I purchase and I do know there was a shark magic (full use) confirmation box.

9:56AM VMK Time Saturday March 1, 2008
Location Magic Shop N-N-N-W
Starting Credits X credits
Ending Credits x less 10,000
Purchased Shark Magic Full Use. Saw confirm mssage for shark magic. No shark pin in inventory.

Please, let me say it again with specific details. After having a shopping mishap in Fall 2007 where I ended up with 9 churro carts instead of 9 weekend pins I am very careful when shopping. I now go slow and verify each purchase and confirm message. Next, I check my inventory. ( To this day I swear there were weekend pin confirmation messages on that purchase last fall...again regardless of what their shopping report showed.  This time I will not let it go!)

I do know that today I selected and confirmed the purchase of SHARK MAGIC today at approximately 9:56AM PST. Please help. I can't afford to not receive what I ordered in the magic shop. I know I ordered a shark pin regardless of what any purchase reports show. I did recheck my inventory for 10 minutes. I also logged out and back in to VMK. Still, no shark pin. Boo!

In advance thank you for your help.

If they tell me I purchased a pin other than shark magic I will be so beyond upset.  I can't afford to spend 10K on something I did not order.

Thanks for listening.

Update:
About 50 minutes after my initial purchase and a short time after publicly posting, the pin appeared
Thanks to any magic that may have happened behind the scenes.
We know it was not Duck Intervention.

Cloudymellowdisco:
Thank goodness your story had a happy ending, Happy!  Do you think all the major lag contributed to the lag of you receiving your pin (although I got mine without any wait but that was at opening pacific time)?

Happy:
I have no idea. One would think logging out and back would have found it.  50 minutes was a long time to wait.  The credits left without lag.   :rofl1:

Cloudymellowdisco:
Good point!  But I'm sure you're agreeing with the "better late than never" slogan right now!!   :thumb:
