Retro Age - Record Shop Sneak-Peek!

Something exciting is brewing in Retro Age... and it's not just S.J.'s homemade bathtub rootbeer!
Jukeboxes are being delivered to the back of the Record Shop, and the place is buzzing with activity!
There is also a serious rumor that legendary drum machines and bass-line synthesizers are also coming in the back-door!
This can only mean that we can create our own totally wicked sounds!
So watch for this coming for our 7th VFK Anniversary!
(It will knock your bobby-socks off!)

Behind The Scenes - Merfolk!

When we look at designing a new age, or a new game, or a new concept, the first thing that happens is the development of a storyline.
These storylines are written by our very own Gracie DeForest, who also authors our daily newsletter!
The storyline provides the structure and sets the scene for the Graphic Artists, and helps define the character development.
From this, storyboard sketches are created, and then the work begins on creating the animations, scenes, and supporting structures.
In the case of Merfolk Age, this all began over 6 years ago now.
Looking back on the storylines, and the original sketches, everyone here at VFK realized just how charming they were!
For our 7th Anniversary, our Graphics Team has come up with the exciting idea of turning Gracie's storylines into a book series.
Gracie has been busy getting each book ready for our 7th Anniversary, turning her original storylines into books, while the Graphic Artists have been reviewing their original sketches and even adding more to the collection!
They are now up to over 50 sketches for each book!
This will be VFKs first-ever Book Series!
So watch for the exciting release of the first four books of the Crystal Mermaid Series, coming this 7th VFK Anniversary!
